Hi everyone.

I have secured an admission in a funded masters program. However, I already have a masters from my home country. I have little interest in committing to a PhD. What are the chances of my study permit getting approved? Have you seen any similar case within your circle?

Would appreciate the help.

University of Manitoba is a DLI school — that alone gives you a solid start. Meet the financial requirements, write a clear study plan, and the approval rate is normal. You don’t need to compare it to other cases.

You still need a very good reason why you need a 2nd masters degree.
