:( it really pain me a lot .. Anyway is not over in till you get approve ..

Did you got your biometric correspondence letter before the refusal letter ?

Also you don't need to rush so that they won't see it as desperate . Kindly apply for gcms note to know exactly the reason for the refusal and we can easily tackle it from there .... and if you know you can't wait then just be sure you can be able to address the issue and remember good sop help a lot to make it clear to the vo
Thanks for your prayer, i received biometric correspondence letter before refusal. I think the main reason for rejection would be non submission of SOP, let me write strong SOP and shoot again.

I scored IELTS 5 in writing and 6 in the remaining plus 8 years working experience. Really scared of visa.
Your visa rejection is mainly bcz of educational gap ?
I don't think so, it's bcse of educational gap. Might be of not submitting SOP. I heard some one got visa with 5.5 IELTS in one band. Pray to God.

That is also a good idea..
For general information on SOP ...

Please for those writing sops, you need your sop to be in bullet form with each talking about a certain aspect... no1 should start with your introduction/background...you full name, date of birth, where you are from, name of your family...where they are from....i see sops with no introductions, no format...just go straight to I am dis, I did this here, I have certificate in this, bla bla bla...thats why vo use vague cos it's vague. No 2, talk about why you are doing so so course...this is where you try to align your previous degree with wat your intended course, pick some courses in your final year or 3rd year to align with it. Also here is where u talk about your experience, what you have been doing after your degree that pushed u to wanna do so so course. This is where u need to be very very very CONVINCING. Spend more time here than any other place... No3 and 4, should talk about why canada and why so so school... Google can do that for u... No5 should be titled Travel history.. here even if u have not left your country before since you were born..you just tell the vo, you haven't been opportune to travel outside of your country before but I have had the chance to travel to (name all the states you have gone to), which gave me the opportunity to experience different cultures and traditions, visit different places. Each time I travelled, I always respected and obeyed the laws, rules and regulations of the state/country and always returned home because there's no place like home (Nigeria/state). No 6, the home ties... here pls try to list all the full names of your family and their respective date of birth starting from your dad wat he does, to the last person in the family where all of you are from again. This saves the vo time to start checking for their birth certificates... Finally, Your plans after studies, this is where you need to actually show you have a plan or something that you tend to offer to your home country wen you return (new ideas to improve the economy or employment for people, it can be anything so long it's realistic and possible). This aspect actually helps you to avoid purpose of visit in a way.... If you noticed I didn't include anything concerning how much I have in my account or my sponors cos I believe as long as I submitted a bank statement the vo should look at it there...this avoids the vo focusing so much on how much I am making or have... Others might have done something different (sops) and got their approvals, but am just trying to give a clear view of what is all about.

Guys got refusal yesterday. here are the reasons
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in
subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of: your level of establishment,
language abilities, financial ability and I am not satisfied you are a genuine student and that you
will depart Canada at the end of your authorized stay.

I didnt wrote sop previously and i have paid one semester fees alone.
Now i am planning to try with sop and one year tution fees. Is this works out friends? Any suggestions?. Thanks.
i feel very strong sop addressing the reason of refusal, improved ielts, progression of previous study with proposed study, very good fund management with the help of ca,very good family and social ties will help in chances of visa approval.you may take help of a good consultant of your city, all the best,we all are in same boat brother

I have applied/submitted via SDS Online & I see everyone talking about an SOP. I didn't write any statement of purpose neither did I see an option to submit one in the list of documents.
I asked a lot of people and they said an SOP is not required for SDS or necessary. Can someone please tell me about this and if so what category to submit this in?

Hello, I recently submitted my study permit application. I am a recent graduate with bachelor's degree in petroleum. I gained admission for a master's degree in MUN. Whilst submitting I made a
grave mistake by leaving a claim that I had a best maths student award, which was a remnant of a friends CV in mine. Please I wanted to know if this shall amount in misrepresentation. Thank you.

if all documents are very much complementary without sop also you can get approval, sop required when we have to convince vo more than visible documents i hope, which we are learning

I want to say all my documents are fine, paid my first-year tuition fees, I have my GIC and everyone else is done. However, I don't understand where is the statement of purpose submitted since there was no option for it? Is it the client information section of the documents?
