For those of you who have received the PNP certificate from Alberta Province government, did Alberta immigration officers ever contact your employer to verify your current employment? I am afraid that they will contact my employer and once my current employer knows that I have the intent to quit this job and move to Alberta someday, he will probably start to hire someone else to replace me. And if I fail to get the Alberta PNP certificate, I will end up finishing my life in the US and moving back to my country....

My f1 visa got refused in 2001 from chennai,india.Now im in usa on h1 from past 4 years.Now im filing for canada Immigration.While filling Imm 008 form ,im confused with following question.
"been refused refugee status in, or an immigrant or a permanent resident visa or visitor or temporary resident visa to, Canada or any other country, or have been refused a Certificat de Selection du Quebec (QSC) to Quebec".
Do i need say yes to it or not.

I have applied for the pre-assessment and sent in the docs as an email attachment on october 22nd and also recieved an acknowledgement reply from Gingie same day. I am working in USA on H1B since oct 2007 (more than a year).
I just want to know if you are not approved in pre-assessment do they let you know?
Also my position is of a Management Analyst (which is not listed of Regional Occupation Under pressure) in USA but i perform most of the duties of a Marketing Manager(which is listed on the Regional Occupation under pressure) as listed on the NOC website which i mentioned on the application. Do you think this could cause a problem in the approval process.
In the acknowledgement email they said the pre-assessment could take upto 4 months now. Is it really going to take 4 months. I have my FSW application waiting to be filed. i am just waiting for the answer from Alberta PNP.

You can also submit I-94, it does show the date when you enter to US.

Not sure. I sent them an employment reference letter from my employer. I don't know why they would contact, they have information about my job and job details already. But, when I signed the AINP form one of the points in declaration was I give PNP office the authority to verify my employment and immigration...... So keep your fingers crossed.

About your job details I don't think you should worry much because they would look at the letter of your duties and responsibilities from your job and go by that rather than going by the title. Plus, you can't do anything about it. So chill!
