Hi, my mother is coming to visit us this year, my question is if she can stay more than 3 months at a time?

We have a 10 year visa permit. I mean is there a limit to stay more than 3 months in a 6 month period. Do I need to contact the immigration officer for this?
How long she is allowed to stay would depend on the immigration officer whom she meets at the POE. Typically, she would be allowed to stay for up to 6 months. This means she can stay for 3 months or even the entire 6 months.... but not for 10 years as per her visa validity.

If she would like to stay longer than 6 months that she is allowed then she must apply to extend her stay.

If it seems like she is not visiting but staying like a permanent resident (for example) then her entry could be limited or even denied
