Just want to know about your application coz i think we are on same boat. Have you heard after your new medical request? Also just want to know what will be the nxt after this medical... Maybe you have idea..

My application is under LCP. My wife stil not PR.


We got married june 2012
Received your application for permanent residence on April 2, 2013.
We started processing your application on May 20, 2014
Cic canada request for docs and medical: may 2014
Docs submited: july 2014
.Medical results have been received june 2014
Abu dhabi req 4 additional docs n proof of marriage: nov 2014
Addtnal docs submitted to abudhbi: dec 11, 2014

when do we get our original documents back?? anyone knows what courier is used by LVO?? my husband lives in Dubai and he is moving to a different place if he changes address will it slow down the process?? also does the courier in Dubai call you incase they cant reach you at home address??

Can anyone tell me where original docs are sent back. At sponsors address or at applicants ?? Once they ask you to send passport fr visa stamping does the visa office asks u to get your dxb residence cancelled? Can anyone mention me the procedure once the decision is made.

Not sure about your first question but let me try answering the second one. I was not asked to cancel any DXB Residence Visa before or after sending the Passport.

Guys ... i want to ask the average time from changing the status of the back ground check from started the back ground check to pp request ... how much time in between ?

now i see there is some unfairness in Abu dhabi office processing time. People who applied in june 2016 have got the pp request however i applied since February and all what i got is asking for Jordanian Police certificate on October and since then nothing.

Hello,

After a year of waiting, I have finally received my PPR. Woohoo!

The PPR was sent to me on the 2nd week of October. Sent it to ADVO through Aramex and it took 22 days in total to receive my passport back with the Visa and COPR. So yes, I have my passport back as well.

Truly grateful to all of you for your support and advice. I am not done asking for advice though. I will need some help about taking my belongings and the procedure on how to declare them.

Really excited now!

I used Aramex for the Passport Delivery and found them knowledgeable about this particular procedure. I would recommend them.

For all those who are waiting, all the best to you. It will happen. Everyday is a day closer to your approval.

Advo called me for interview after interview they requested some additional dox and kept my pp. I have sent all additional dox 20 days before my medical has expired. But no response fro them yet.

hello! today got work on mycic that application has been approved. waiting for passport to be sent back!

can anyone answer my question. a few days ago i noticed under mycic account that there was some supporting documents required by us. I only noticed this a few days ago because i thought this was about us sending the passport to the visa office. it looks like they want a scanned copy of my husbands passport to be uploaded on mycic. but why would they want that if abu dhabi visa office already has my husbands passport. i don't have a scanned copy of it now as i don't have his passport. it says the documents need to be uploaded by dec 2nd..not sure how long it would take to get the passport back...any ideas?

I tried calling cic if they have any info about my question but they said since abu dhabi is handling it they don't have any info..need to ask them my doubt. oct 18th they sent us the ppr. by the 26th we had given in the passport. after the 26th this notice on mycic about the support document was added..which is asking for replacement needed for passport. they want an upload of my husbands passport by dec 2nd. i don't have the passport now as it is with abu dhabi visa office now. and now that the application has been approved do they still need the upload? I'm confused!

ADVO did not ask me to redo the medical. They sent me the PPR last month.

Are you saying you already had your interview and that they kept your Passport at the time of interview and asked you to submit documents after the interview? Was part of the additional documentation to redo the medical?
