It was changed on the 15th. And yes they had asked for additional docs on sept 21. We sent in the docs on October 8th.

Hi Arad! We got the notes 30 days after the request.
We also got ADR on Oct. 15 and sent last the docs on Nov. 11, ECAS still application received...hope you will have your PP soon ARAD so we will follow...

Hi llij21! That form was not their in the ADR.
In the notes, almost all says "not started" except for the sponsor part marked passed...fees were paid... also listed what documents they require ( which are stated in the ADR)...they will also list the calls we made to follow up during SA...notes was 30 pages...

it seems that ADVO only process the family application only , i did not receive anything from them since i get the AOR on 6/2/2014 , you are lucky
anyway did you notice when they change the ecase status i mean in Abu Dhabi local time or Canada local time , i was wonder who is responsible for the E case the VO or Ottawa

actually, it seems that the ecas story is pretty irrelevant to the whole case. people getting Visas stamped and their ecas still says In Process. but i guess there isnt much to do except to check the dam thing every 3 minutes. (well, at least in my case) ???

although it seems like ADVO wants to finalize as many applications as they can before the new system kicks in. even in this forum there are people who got visa in 4-5 months.

Hi all,

I finally got my passport back and here's my experience. I sent my PP on 20/10 and it reached the Embassy on 21/10 and the 10 working days got over on 2/11 yet I hadnt heard from ADVO so I sent an email on 6/11. And again emailed them on 9/11, 10/11, submitted a Case Specific Enquiry on 12/11 and when ASBA got a response regarding their PP on 13/11, I sent them an email again and my husband too requested the MP in Canada to enquire on 14/11. And I sent another email on 16/11 and didnt get a reply to any of my enquiries. So I personally went to the Embassy this morning at 9:30 and explained to them saying that its almost a month since I submitted my PP and I'm travelling this Thursday so they asked me to come back at 2:30 pm to collect my PP and I also received back the photographs we submitted and COPR. The visa was stamped on 6/11 and I dont know why they didnt return the PP back, but I am glad that this is all over!!

Yeah that's the thing.. we cannot really rely on ecas status.. I'm doing the same thing too but i guess ill wait till next month to hear from them as i sent them the additional documents last 9th november only.

I really hope that we will not be affected of the new policies coming up next year

Hey ure Done...yayy...now relax and prepare for ur landing ...how many days ADVO took in total? And aramex is too slow man! We dispatched passport on 16th..still it hasnt been delivered though reached UAE operations facility

Other then the express entry program for skilled workers and dependent child age change (applicable since Aug 2014)from 22 years to 19 years there are no major changes. kindly see link below:
