Asim, just wondering if they request for any additional documents from you. I thought if anybody has a perfect file with everything in order they will process it within 6 months.

Did your online status change from "application recieved" to "in Process" yet?

i noticed that many ppl will get a request for additional doc within 6 or 7 months even though their status is not updated to in process yet.
in my case i didnt get any feedback from them and its been 8 months since we applied, is it possible that they didnt tough it yet, or they dont need any further doc and our file is perfect ,, i wonder :'(

Nope not yet didn't changed to IN PROCESS yet and no news from ADVO office, Well perfect file I cant say but I didn't miss any thing that was required as per their last email.
Last time heard from them was November 17 2013, asked for documents to be submitted within 45 days well I have submitted them within 22 days.

I did ask them about submission of the Document on 17 November because I already submitted everything in the first go (except one police certificate that was in process) but they asked again which they confirmed on 31st December 2013
That they have received all your documents please submit the rest, by that time I already have submitted them again.

Don't worry your not alone...my husband's application been waiting for 14 months and they never ask aadditional documents to us and the Ecas still application received and everytime we sent them email they replied that still in a queue. For 14 months still in a queue.we only get AOR that's it.

So when you emailed them about sending your documents they confirmed via email? I was told that they don’t confirm acceptance of documents via email. Its frustrating because I want this immigration to sort out soon as I have seen one member getting it within 6 months without any issue. Wonder why for others it is being delayed.

Don't worry your not alone...my husband's application been waiting for 14 months and they never ask aadditional documents to us and the Ecas still application received and everytime we sent them email they replied that still in a queue. For 14 months still in a queue.we only get AOR that's it.

OMG god help you,, it says 15 months now so lets hope this long wait will come to an end soon for u

If you don't mind me asking, what additional documents did they request?
And were these documents that were stated that were required on the forms when you apply first and you hadn't submitted it? Or were they just MORE stuff they wanted which isn't mentioned on the forms and checklist?

there will always be MORE stuff they will ask from you... we call that phase "request for additional documents"... it really doesn't matter how much of a 'complete' application you submit... there nothing called a 'complete' application... they always need sumthing... it doesn't even have to be listed in the required section in their website...

I submitted all the document except one police certificate from Kazakhstan because it was under process but they asked all the Police certificates again which later they confirmed that they have received please send other police certificate again.

They asked to refill my travel dates as per stamps i filled them as per visas.

Thats all.

there will always be MORE stuff they will ask from you... we call that phase "request for additional documents"... it really doesn't matter how much of a 'complete' application you submit... there nothing called a 'complete' application... they always need sumthing... it doesn't even have to be listed in the required section in their website...

Well in my case they needed a renewed PCC.. Obv if they delay the process and cause the expiration of the pcc that's not my fault.. They also wanted proof that my wife is currently staying in canada and that she is a citizen (like they didn't have enuf evidence frm the fact that CIC in canada already hadnt approved my wife being my sponsor)... They also needed communication proof between my wife and i for the past one year or like 6 months i can't rmr... Also they wanted wedding picures.. I suggest having pictures where there r a lot of relatives and ppl.. This is just a suggestion not a mandatory btw.. So far this is all they asked...

Sent around 70-80 pages of chat logs and emails, phone bills from each other, hotel bills of the functions, bills of our hotel's room rental for the couple of days that we stayed together when I was visiting her, photos of personalized gifts, airline tickets of my 2 visits there, boarding passes, stamps on my passport.

Of course submitted everything else on the checklist required, PCCs, Attested translations of marriage certificate with copy or originals, proof of medical, passport copies, travel history, etc etc..

your application luks pretty strong as long as everything they asked for as the requirement is all in there... they always ask different things from different ppl.. i told u what they asked from me...
