mrsldr , you can check online on the Dubai police site fill the form pay and then they will call you for finger prints, or just go there you can find this information easily on there site , online will take one week but when you go there only 10 more min but if you directly went there they will givve you in a day but it will took whole day there

Im not from this thread, but i just have a question
I have a room mate, hes from Dubai and sponsoring his wife from Dubai also, hes just wondering what the average processing time is?
Is it pretty standard to what cic says or is it less/more?

I know for mexico cic says 13 months but average is about 6 months.

They take 4 to 12 months mostly cases done in 8 months, here is previous users timeline it might helps your friend.

passport sent with 3 photos may 12,

As I mention I sent my requested documents to visa office abu dhabi & I track through Postal tracking number & status shows Attempted delivery, but no one was able to received and they left notice card to pick up ur item from mention location. So its been three days status is same what you guys recommend? should I wait or resend? ???

I am sponsoring my spouse And Canadian Embassy in Abu Dhabi has asked to submit original Certificate of No Marriage (CENOMAR) issued by the National Statistics Office in the Philippines . Since my wife is married now(first marriage) NSO office only issues "Advisory Of Marriage".Has anyone experienced such situation.

I didn't received my passport yet.. I had my passport request last may 9, then I was able to send it on may 12 then it was received in abu dhabi on may 14. All in all, it was 9 days after they received the passport. I hope this week in sha allah, then I will give my update here. It is so good to here that you had your passport request too munchkin! I'm praying also for the other applicants who are waiting for the application. Bless us all! ;D

HI DID YOU USE ARAMAX??
ONCE YOU RECEIVE YOUR PASSPORT BACK AT THE ADDRESS YOU TOLD THEM TO SEND IT, IF YOUR NOT THERE AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY, DO THEY LEAVE THE PASSPORT WITH SOMEONE ELSE OR DO THEY WILL CALL YOU???

did they give you the option of going to the emassy to drop passport off?

yes they did but it was more convenient for us to mail it in mrs Al Khatib.... either way you have to arrange the return postage yourself....

i dont mind that, but I'd rather we drop it off,
you never know how long the mail sits there! :'(

Hi, the mail doesn't sit there once you send the passport Mrs Al Khaltib,, as you can track it online, ours was received the next business day.., either way its the same thing.. and it should take between 5-10 DAYS to send and receive the passport back... its the fastest part of the process I believe. You might be saving maybe just one day by just dropping it off yourself. Hope it helps

yes! the man in the cashier told me that they are going to call me if my passport arrives so i could pick it up in their office or they will deliver in my address.. Maybe if they called thats the time they are going to ask me those options, i think. Because I never used aramex before, unlike DHL they called me when they were on the way for delivery.
