I sent the additional documents on November and it's not included in the notes of the file
The last activity on the file was when they sent the request for additional documents

Same is the case with us. I applied for my husband's PR in March 2015. They transferred the file to Abu Dhabi office in May. Medical results were received in August and additional documents were requested in October. Since then there has been no update on ecas past 6 months. This is extremely frustrating for us :/

My husband even applied for a visit visa just so we could at least meet each other and it's been a month they haven't updated us on that too eventhough the processing time for TRV is 14 days. He went to the consulate since they never answer calls or reply to emails, but they don't allow walk-ins anymore. Terrible. Most applicants who applied in March have got their PRs already

Hi all, I've been reading this forum since long time and now i'm in process of filling forms. I'm Pakistani and my wife is Canadian citizen living with me in Saudi Arabia.

I'll be grateful if somebody answer to my these questions:

1. Which country specific guide should i use? Pakistan or Middle East?
2. Does any Pakistani national living in middle east have submitted all their "Original" documents?
3. From where can i get document copies notarized?

Go for both Middle East & Pakistani. & I am from Middle east living with spouse who is Canadian citizen. FYI it is clearly mentioned in Pakistani guide to send original documents. & as per my lawyer advise I have send the original documents (marriage certificate & marriage contract + educational documents)

we have received second additional document requesting for police clearance. Could anyone give me an idea, if we passed the legibility ?
last time I checked our notes it said that there's recommendation for interview . has anyone have an idea how long do we have to wait until
we have ppr. This wait is getting longer and longer by the day.

Congrats..!! I wish rest of ppl will get soon their PPR, I think Canadian Immigration office will refer you to send your passport to ADVO,
If you are facing problem in pak, come back here and send from here by DHL or ARAMEX and while you can give the one month notice to your company for your resignation.
