Lamis, In my opinion, this is good. At least you know they are working/progressing on your application. Thanks for the information, as my wife ignores any # she doesn't recognize! Nobody's immune from scams/telemarketers, not even in the Middle East!!

You're welcome i'm gonna look at the bright side of this phone call.. And yes tell your wife to answer if it was a fake call she would know they would ask about personal things like money in her bank account and stuff like that .. Thats what i think...

Oh nice. We were going to submit to the same visa office, but ended up going through Aramax.

No we still haven't received it yet and its been 4 weeks. But if they told you minimum 3 weeks, I assume it can take much longer. I don't understand why its so slow, its been 17 months for us and this last step is just dragging on and on. InshaAllah soon enough!

InshaAllah soon, well i hope n pray that i am dealing with advo for the last time. Alhamdulillah my file went through London visa office and it was very quick n smooth process, n yea now it may get longer while dealing with advo.
it was mentioned in the email we received from LVO, that we will submit our passport to the nearest VFS office. they charged some processing fee but i hope passport will come back safely. i wish you good luck!!

I just got married recently. My wife is a pakistani citizen but resides in Abu Dhabi with her parents. she also works over there. We got married in pakistan. I came back to canada after n she went back to abu dhabi. Now I am working on the forms and getting all the required documentation for spousal sponsorship.

Based on the spreadsheet, I am looking at the visa approval process in less than a year. Is that true ?

Based on the spreadsheet, I am looking at the visa approval process in less than a year. Is that true ?

Now days all Pakistani national application process in London Visa Office instead of Abu Dhabi, whether he/she living any where in the gulf.
I am also living in Dubai and Pakistani National my case is under process in London Visa Office.

Processing time of LVO is 28 months but they are finalize the application in 12 to 15 months, If all goes well without any red flag.

For us it took them 2 and half month to process the application

When we applied, we did it online...day after submitting it online, we received email to do the biometrics. Day after we did the biometrics, we received a rejection letter.

So the processing time was quick...but not the result we were hoping to receive

How can one obtain police certificate in KSA ? Do you wait for the embassy to send you the form in order to get the certificate or you can do without the form from the visa office ?

Can you send your police certificate to the visa office while it's in process ?

I want to safe some time by doing now instead of waiting. Who resides in KSA knows about this sort of thing.

Hey my husband got the police certificate .. He told me that he sent an email to advo telling them that he needs the request letter for police..they replied with an email asking for his mail address and he sent it to them, then they sent the paper via mail.. Then u take the paper and do the required procedure

When your husband sent the email to ADVO did he have like a client id number or sort ? Was his case in process ?

Did it delay your case when he sent the email to ADVO ? I'm worry this might delay my case if I request a letter for the police .
