Hey guys! Does anyone know if it’s normal for my Sponsor to get his AOR hours ago but not me? Maybe I’m overthinking it?
That's who gets it. My PA only started receiving emails for medical and bio stage.

I got AOR 1 and 2, as well as file transfer email as Sponsor.

1 and 2 ? What is the second one, so as a sponsored person I shouldn’t expect an email or letter?
Ya AOR 2 is sent once the file is transferred and received by the local Visa Office. First stop is Sydney for AOR 1, then for us was Warsaw for AOR 2. Apparently not all visa offices send AOR2 but it seems most do. My experience is that you won't hear from them until medical.

Ahh this makes more sense! Will I get an AOR 2 if I’m applying from within Canada?

No clue about Inland but I would assume it to be the same. Try searching threads for a quick answer.

Decision Made under Permanent Residence Application on ECAS (no idea when it happened, last time I checked was a month ago when it was still in process). CIC is still in progress under Final Decision. BGC still shows "we are processing your background check". Eligibility is being reviewed. Didn't get any prearrival email. Sent additional documents last June (spouse intent to return). No interview or procedural fairness letter. I really don't know how to make out of it, I'm so anxious and worried! Been waiting for 19 months now :(

Assuming it's DM for PA? The two systems never say the same thing at the same time. Did you expect interview??? Sounds like PPR coming soon :) what visa office?

It's DM for PA and I kinda did expect an interview because it was transferred to Los Angeles Visa Office. A lot of people said that US apps got to LAVO if it has red flags.

Hmmmm....Did PA triple check for emails? Hopefully it's a good sign. I'd call if I were you. They'll tell you the decision if you do.

Category........
Hello All,

I am a Permanent Resident of Canada and want to start the spousal sponsorship application for my wife in Outland Category. I have a question regarding the process.

I read about the process and it seems that we need to create two sets of documents , one for the sponsor and one for the applicant. Some forms need signatures from both of us and I will be in my Country before starting the application and hence get her signatures done .

I want to ask, could I put both the sets with respective checklists in one package and mail it together for both of us from here in Canada ?

I tried to scroll through some pages of this thread to get an answer but couldn't dare to go through all the pages. So please don't mind my ignorance.

Thanks!
