Your application will be treated as a new application since it was incomplete. So most likely you are looking at the 40+ day wait.

Hello everyone!

I am a PR holder and I want to apply for my husband's visa (spouse visa). I am a bit confused if I have to create an account on the permanent residence portal for his visa application or will I have to create a separate GCKEY account for him? He is outland as he resides in the UK at the moment. I came to Canada as a Permanent Resident and I applied for the same through express entry programme, so I had applied through my GCKey account. So, again, I am bit confused if I have to create an account on the permanent residence portal for his visa application or will I have to create a separate GCKEY account for him? I would be grateful if anyone could please help me with this doubt!

You need to submit the application through PR portal. Later after aor you can create gckey account for your husband to link it to his PR application
