One question about the emails and all other messages that you are sending. If they are in some other language then English, the have to be translated to English?

Hi there :)

i am just in the last stage of paperwork for common law sponsorship. phheeeeew!!!
i am here in canada and have been for the last 2 and a half years on a visitor visa and now my Canadian common law partner is sponsoring me.
As i am from the UK i have looked into sending it "outside" and "inside"
it seems the "outside" is faster as step 1 is 27 days and step 2 is 10 months.
"inside" Canada is 11 months for the first step and 10 months for the 2nd step

so we are going to send if off hopefully tomorrow when i get my photos of proof developed!

am i definitely doing the right thing sending it "outside" 8)

I am certain it is much better to apply outland if you want faster processing and the freedom to leave Canada and return during the that time.

my application received on 8th May 2013 and i sent my passport to Delhi as per requirement on 20th June (almost 5 months ago). So, ow long take time for spouce PR visa ?? :(

Hello Guys, i need some help and suggestions on how to apply for my wife PR.

I recently got PR in july and got married in October in India. My wife is brazilian and i am all set to apply for her pr in some days. Can someone explain me about the process. Do i have to send her application to Ontario office and then immigration will send it to Brazil office?

Thanks a lot in advance

Since you are a PR you need to be residing in Canada during the application processing.

You mail the application first to CPC-Mississauga, and they will send it to the appropriate visa office. If your wife is a resident or citizen of Brazil that would be Sao Paulo office.

Just so I'm clear on this..... about how long (typically) does the applicant have to wait before she is granted permanent resident status? Assume there are no 'snags' or setbacks. Thank you! :)

Hi guys!

Ok so my husband was asked to redo his meds which he did and they got them today (according to the courrier service tracking). They were sent in France.

His file switched to "in process" Since they requested for the meds. Any idea how long it will take to hear from them?

Depends on the visa office and the method of applying (inland / outland).

My question is:

Hi!

We sent all to Mississauga. Once I was approved as a sponsor Mississauga sent the file to the processing visa office.

The complete application must be sent to Mississauga since you are applying outland. Instructions are on the CIC website and in your country guide.
