Spousal sponsorship

Hi guys, I need your input please.. In the Sponsorship Evaluation Form IMM5481, question #3.Write your net personal income for the 12 months preceding the date of your application. Also write the dates of that 12-month period --- If iam going to pass my application this month of May, should I write the income I got from April 2012-April 2013? or can I use the income I got on January 2012-December 2012? I called the CRA if I can get my net income from their records from April 2012 to April 2013 since that's the 12-month period immediately preceding my date of application but they said they don't have records of that and can only give me the income I made from January 2012 to December 2012. Should that be ok, I'll just write down the income I made from January 2012-December 2012? Thanks for any response.

You don't need a police report as sponsor.
Even if the application is made from outside Canada?

Write the 12 preceding months to your application, so April 2012 to April 2013. If you don't have a 100% exact amount it's ok. You can estimate to the best of your ability. Saying $50,000 is ok as compared to $50,429.

Yes, no sponsor police check required. I lived in my husband's country for 3 years prior to sending the PR app, and there was no police check ever asked of me. We applied outland.

may i ask someone who has an idea on how long the MICC will make a decision after the MICC received the application for the CSQ...Thanks...
People seem to report ~4-5 weeks for this process fairly regularly. Generally it does not slow your process, because the CSQ is generated while your application sits in queue with the visa office.

So you are filing under inland you're saying? You can stay in that case I believe.

The public policy is that an applicant in the "spouse/partner in Canada" class is not required to have status in Canada. Note that this is not a law, it is a public policy so they do have leeway with respect to how it is enforced.

You can remain in Canda, you do not need to leave. In fact, if you leave, you jeopardize your inland application.

If you did not apply for temporary status with your PR application, I would strongly suggest that you file a temporary application now - send it to Vegreville and ask that it be attached to your PR file for consideration once AIP has been granted. Make sure to cite the file number provided in the AOR.

Most people submit an "open work permit" application, but you can also apply for visitor or student status.

Have so many questions as I am getting either no answers from immigration or mixed answers. I am Canadian and I am sponsoring my Algerian husband. So far are situation is as follows, We applied with a complete application for permanent residence and was recieved on May 7, 2012. I recieved an email stating I was approved to sponsor August of 2011 and then we recieved an email from the visa office in France on October 10,2011 that they had recieved our file. They asked for a second medical which was completed within the week and sent to them. My husband was then asked to attend an interview on January 16,2012. He completed his interview and the V.O said everything looked great and we should have answer within 3 months. One thing I found odd was his interview took place in Tunisia. nOW ON e-CAS IT says, "We started processing your application on March 28, 2013". What exactly does this mean as I got 2 answers one said it will now take nine more months and another said 43 working days... The visa office in france will not answer any questions. Anyone with any similar experience we would appreciate any info....so confused :-\
