Hello everyone, how long does it take to get AOR after applying for inland spousal sponsorship?

I applied on July 28, 2023. Exactly two months i got AOR
Very rough estimate is May 2024. But it could be shorter or longer.

I am in the same with you. But why does it take long. You breaking families apart. It's not good for children mostly
There are a number of steps to the process including reviewing the medical results, background and security checks, and also the eligibiligy itself. It also depend on processing volumes and the number of applications IRCC has received and is processing.

HI All I am resident of Quebec (Canadian Citizen) who applied for Spousal sponsorship for my wife in the month of June 2023 . Below is the status of my Spousal PR application

Received AOR, SA, Medicals completed (Passed) & also submitted through webform CSQ documents which I have received by mail.

I am writing here to see what are the next steps of the process and also just to check how long its going to take for the next steps, can some one please advise on my question. Thanks in advance!!!!

Eligibility, background, and security check should be next.

Posted processing time for Quebec applicants is two years right now. This is due to the caps the Quebec government has put in place. So in short, expect that it may take two years to process your application from the time it was submitted (and be happy if it takes less than that). Good luck. The situation is pretty bad for Quebec applicants right now.
