Hi guys,
I'm slightly confused and looking for anyone to explain me what this e-mail means.

" You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. According the application for Permanent Residence for your relative has been forwarded to visa office for further process"

Congrats, you just received your SA (sponsor approval). That means you (or your spouse) have qualified to sponsor. This is basically stage 1 of the outland PR process. Now the applicant's part of the app is forwarded to the visa office indicated in the email. :)

I am principal applicant..I am filling IMM008 and section is there has asked number of dependants..I hv given my mother name(not accompanying to Canada with me) ,father name(not accompanying to Canada with me) and my spouse name(already in Canada). My spouse is sponsoring me.

Under Dependant(s) section below line is written:

You must provide the following details about each of your family members whether they will be accompanying you to Canada or not. You must include your spouse, if applicable, and those of your spouse or common-law partner, who are already PR.

Question: what does above line mean? My parents are needed to be shown/tell as dependants? And my spouse also need to be tell dependant?

This form is a generic form, so you get questions like this that do not pertain to every situation. You only need to add any dependant children to the form if that's applicable, otherwise you can remove the section from the PDF (click "Remove Dependant")

Ok I have removed my parents from dependants sections what about my spouse(she is already in canada and sponsoring me)
..
Does that mean she is also not dependant?

Your sponsor isn't your dependant. This form is also used by those who are immigrating under other streams and bring a spouse over.

Hello house, I trust we are all doing fine except for the part that we are anxious to hear positive news about ours PR.
Please can someone tell what is the trend now, I mean if is more of invitation for interviews or they are calling for submission of passport. Bcos two people I know just got their PR by submission of their passport without interview.

Your question is far too broad. You'll have to say which visa office your application is being processed through.

For Accra VO, I will say the chance is 40/60......however, the trend doesn't really matter.
What matters is your inidividual application...if there are red flags in your application, then an interview is more likely.

It's an idiom that means, in this context, an indicator in your application that may alert the CIC officer. For instance, something unusual or suspicious that will draw attention to your application. One example could be a large age gap between the sponsor and the applicant.

thank you.

can you clarify me about my situation. My both PR an SA ECAS status shows "in process" since December 2015. My application was filled on September 2015. My medical has been expired on this March.

Hi

I've question regarding spousal sponsorship.

Person A landed in Canada in June 2012 and left Canada in Feb 2013 to get married and was living in Pakistan with spouse. He has two kids (Born in 2013 and 2014). He came back to Canada in June 2015 and is now planning to apply for his family under family class immigration. Now I've two questions:

How much income he has to show, he is working full time on contract and earned approximately 21K since his arrival in 2015 June. (He didn't have job for two months).
What is role of this finance thing in spousal sponsorship (Remember he has two kids as well)? Could they reject his application as sponsor (first stage) that he didn't meet LCOI for 4 family members (Himself/Wife/2 kids) although his family is still back home in Pakistan.

Thanks for your answers and help in advance.
