Medical Done Upfront : November 2015
File Submitted : 11th January 2016
Application Received :
File In process :
File Transferred to LVO /Approval of Sponsor :
Are you sponsor or applicant: Sponsor
Sponsor is Canadian Citizen or PR: Citizen
Sponsoring husband or wife: Wife

Guys , you're right. But do call them and explain the whole process . I sent my correspondence via registered mail service of Canada Post and after it reached London they'd no clue where it went but when I called them , within 3 days mail was delivered . So call them and ask them and make sure your documents had been dropped off

I have been calling them everyday, spoke to them earlier today and was told that hopefully it should be delivered by Thursday/21st. Keeping my fingers crossed!

I had interview... they took everything from me like proofs and documents... they said we will review ur file and will tell u..I am just sad....what I do I need help

Don't know about visa officer. We sent an email almost a month back to inform them that I did re medical. They replied your file is in waiting for officer review.

What is meant by officer review?.I also send him an email he told me that your file is in process for officer review.How could i know who is my visa officer?.Last time I sent him a background deceleration form.How much time required for background checking approximately?What is the next step after this?

Is there anyone who's visa officer is "REO" ?

If yes, what are your feedback about this officer? Is he prompt in replying? Is he usually takes long time to review the file and move to next step?

For a sponsored person, Only need the following
1 Passport with Visa
2 COPR
3 [/b]6. Goods to follow List (Form B4E). -this u can do it there, Or carry it before hand (filled) for ease.
4. Kids Immunization Record. -NOT NEEDED at the a/port. But needed later for School Admission.
5. If u r driving, remember to take ur veh docs. If u r keeping the veh at Canada, 'export' it from US first (carry the docs) and perform 'import' documentations, as well in Canada.
SIN and PR card they apply themselves. now u dont need any forms

As a sponsored person, does one need to declare the items only that he/she is bringing or also the ones which his/her accompanying partner (sponsor) is bringing too?

Hi Guys this is my first post here. I need some guidance as to what is next in my process. I live in Mississauga, Canada and my wife lives in Karachi Pakistan. Our Visa office is LVO We did nikkah first in may 2014 an then Rukhsati in May 2015.


Here is my timeline.

Sept 2014 Submitted documents
Oct 2014 Approval of Sponsor, and documents sent to LVO
May 2014 medical expired
June 2015 they asked for Rukhsati pictures and I sent them a package with all that info because rukhsati was in May 2015 ( just one month earlier)


December 5th 2015 They asked for Medical again because previous medical expired in may 2014
December 21st 2015 Emailed me asking for RPRF, I paid that the same day
January 8th 2016 Mailed RPRF reciept to CPC canada and also emailed CPC
Between December 25th and January 10th, Status on CIC website changed to DECISION MADE

I emailed CIC london what is the next step from my end and also asked them if they recieved my RPRF fees ( paid online and reciept send by mail ( to CPC mississauga) and by email ( to LVO)). Usually in the past when my case was being processed they would take maximum 1 week to reply to my emails. Its been 2 weeks and I have not gotten a reply from them.. just making me anxious and nervous.

Whats next? They will ask for Passport ? Will this request be made by mail or email? I am checking both but have not recieved anything from CIC. whats the timeline? Once it says DM on CIC website, how long do they usually send passport request?

Hi boxxer,

There are people who got their DM's around end of December and are waiting for response from LVO. At this point all we can do is wait. I got my DM on December 26 waiting since for response from LVO. I did sent C.S.E that was 11 days ago no response from LVO. Next step should be passport request but I can't say for sure not until I receive one.

By urgent email you mean to just write in the Subject line of the email as "Urgent"?

usually whats the turnaround time for ppr after DM status comes up? Also do they send passport request letter via email or by actual mail?
