This Pakistani threadline happens to be Highest percentage Of People who Have Not Mentioned Their Application Timelines with their profiles. I mean come-on, how do you expect someone to answer your WHEN queries without knowing your timeline.

Other people observing the question/answers would get better idea of whole process If They Could See The Application Timelines of the person asking questions and being answered.

Dear Applicant,

In order to continue processing your application, we require the additional documents listed below. Please send clear legible photocopies rather than the original documents unless otherwise specified. If the documents are not written in either English or French, please enclose a certified translation with a photocopy of the original document.

What are they exactly asking. I did send my nadra marriage certificate and nikkah namma with translation with my application. Why are they asking again

There could be different reasons to it. Upon receipt of the translated English or French documents, an embassy official must thoroughly review the translation to verify that its content conforms to the original document upon which the translation was based. So make sure when you send the requested docs this time they meet the Certified Translation Criteria of TRUE COPY.

Also any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by the English or French translation, and an AFFIDAVIT from the person who completed the translation, if required. (DID YOU SUBMIT THIS AFFIDAVIT LAST TIME?) An affidavit is a document on which the translator has sworn, in the presence of a commissioner authorized to administer oaths in the place where the affidavit is sworn, that the contents of the translation are a true translation and representation of the contents of the original document.

Yeah, I did not send that. So can you guys please tell me how to get the urdu Nikkah Nama translated properly.

I am guessing you are in Pakistan.
Go to any notary public shop in Pakistan which have computers and make agreements, prints documents etc. They will make it for you, but those computer operators are not literate but follow a pattern for translation, so make sure to check throughly every single line. They will give you the translation on a green paper and it will have notary stamp and an affidavit stamp from a court advocate or commissioner. (that stamp is the affidavit).

In my case we didn't checked the translation thoroughly and it had 50 lacs written as Mehr and my wife age was different which was noted by CIC too. But they still passed it.

Another question - My husband was asked to re-do his medical as the first has expired. He was given the standard 30 days to complete the medical and submit it. The letter sent from CIC is dated July 22nd, 2015. He was given an appointment to have his medical done on the 18th of August, 2015. Once his medical is complete (we will only have 3 days to get his medical into the hands of CIC before the 30 day deadline expires) the letter states the panel physician will forward the medical to the CIC - my concern is that this is in Lahore, Pakistan - sadly, nothing seems to happen in a timely manner in Pakistan. Should we forward a copy ourselves to CIC just to be on the safe side?

I realize there are courier services, but in the worst case scenario that something goes wrong or is delayed with the courier, does anybody have any experience with this kind of situation? Thanks a lot for any advice.

lolz. I am sorry. In Pakistan there are computer shops usually near courts and govt offices that do translation and attestation of documents. They are everywhere.

My wife belongs to Canada and me live in Dubai but PakistanI.
Here I need advice from senior members that as I know birth certificate is mendatary, but I'f I have different birth place on passport and different on birth certificate is it problem for me ?
Second how long it take for visa now a days as on CIC websites written 36 months for LVO.
And job letter add any advantage to the application as I am working in Dubai and visitIng Pakistan every 3 to 5 months.
Waiting from seniors.

Please submit the requested documentation/information to us within 45 days including a copy of this email as a cover letter. Please submit all the above documents to us at the same time, quoting your file number (shown in the subject line above) on all correspondence, including on the envelope.

i didn't understand that do i need to submit the medical of my wife ? is it a re-medical request or i have to submit only police clearance?
because we didn't receive re-medical request form with it

Please someone guide me who has knowledge of it

For Birth Certificate:

I think that would not work, that comes under misinterpretation. If I were you I would create a computerized birth certificate and would mitigate that mistake. My wife did the same for the name as she had different name on the old birth certificate but then changed it without changing any paperwork. When I was applying I created a computerized birth certificate of her from Nadra with correct name and used that as birth certificate.

"Now you would say that is illegal. But it saved me the stress of sending two different names to those dumb cic officers, who would never understand the issue".

How Long:

No one knows how long, but according to current trend it is taking around 12 to 15 months for the whole case to get completed.

Job Letter:
Yes.
You have to provide them all your job details (present & past) all your education details and would be telling them about all your visits to all the countries after age of 18, without leaving any gaps (not even a month of gap) in background declaration form.

Please double check the country specific guide checklist and the CIC main checklist for all the details.

What is your timeline.?
Did you submitted upfront medical ?

If you did then I think they already sent you medical request but you didn't acknowledged, please ask your wife to check her email also the junk or spam folders. and please take this email as your highest priority and provide them the information asked ASAP.
