Hello everyone:

In TRV application, how we can prove strong ties to the country? My spouse doesn't have a job and also no property back home. Any other suggestions to prove the ties?

First evidence is here - CIC does accept upfront medicals or medicals done for other visa applications, which are still valid, for Spousal PR application as well. here's the evidence:

So should i do the medical for visitor visa or for PR application? That is confusing.

You got your AOR on 17, SA-18 and biometrics-19. medical usually is around that. any day it could be popping up in your email.

However, are you in Pakistan? I know in Islamabad - IMO does accept Advance medical appointment, even with the medical request letter from CIC. All you need is your UCI number, which im sure you'd have got from your AOR, Biometrics request etc. Why not to go ahead and get done with your medical. When you recieve the request, just respond right away with uploading the medical report.

Dear All, how long it will take to receive open work permit assuming you arrive in Canada:
1)with a visitor visa
2) You have an outland PR application under spouse sponsorship ongoing
Please I need your advise because. Knowing the time it will take to have the open work permit will help me decide if I have to change my application to inland or just wait for outland to be completed.

Ours is same as well london visa office sends medical late? Any idea? Because mostly people get the medical with the biomatric letter.

Give it till the end of next week. im sure it will be in your email by then. if i were you, i'd wait for the medical request letter. Its generally coming within 2 months of online submission.

Quebec selection certificate : Accepted since 3 months
Background check : in progress since 2 months both on gc key and pr portal

can someone please tell me how much time it takes approx for recieving PR after acceptance of quebec selection certificate?
also how to contact IRCC or any other agent regarding my application status

I personally don't have info for PR applicants via CSQ. But you can contact IRCC either via Phone call or a WEB FORM to check your Application Status.

I dont know the exact correct thing to do But i included an english copy of NADRA marriage certificate

Hi,

Does anyone has experience sponsoring a child after the parents have been divorced? What additional documents are required by IRCC? Is Guardian Certificate / Custody Order by family court sufficient? The child is in Pakistan.

I just applied 3 days ago, no decision yet. Important to note that this is tied to your spousal PR application (mine was updated and attached 1 day later) since its the same profile. Im sure they have access to your marriage proofs there as well. No point in doing a double investigation.

Ahan, you raised an Interesting point. How is this tied to your Spousal PR Application? Because they appear in the same GC account?

Good luck everyone For your applications success.
Applied for trv for my spouse and children on june 4 2023.
Hopefully new measures for family reunification help us all to reunite while waiting for PR application approval.
Medical done in march 2023.
I will keep you guys posted of the updates on trv.
