I am not very clear on this. If your son is not entitled for Canadian Citizenship then why are you inquiring about Citizenship Certificate? If your son was born in Pakistan and you had PR status then he will be added as a dependent to your wife's existing sponsorship application.
If your son was born in Pakistan AND you were a Canadian Citizen AND you acquired your citizenship either through sponsorship or by being born in Canada, then you can apply for his Citizenship Certificate at Canadian embassy, Islamabad.
When I applied for my son's certificate, the process took about 8-9 months.

First of All.. im a canadian citizen and being his mother i have sponsored him and my husband.
secondly my son is not entitled to direct citizenship since i wss not a naturalized citizen nor a born canadian i aquired my citizenship through my father .. i was born in pakistan and so is my son born here so i have sponsored him.
thirdly,im.asking about my sons certificate because as soon as my son will.rcv his PR we can apply for his citizenship living in canada.. since children less than 18 years of age are exempt from.the 5/6 years rule of residency,they do not have to meet this rule and u can apply for ur childs citizenship as soon as you move.

Can someone guide me please. My husband is canadian and he sponsored me and now I have got Passport request.but right now we are residing in Dubai. I might have to fly soon to Canada before my medical expires. So, can I land there without my husband? Would there be any legal issue? And if I land can I come back in a week to wind up things in Dubai and then go back to Canada later? Would it affect my PR card? How would I land second time in Canada if they haven't mailed me Pr card?

Same scenario happened with me, I went to Canada after getting PPR (parents sponsorship and as a dependent) and in 10 days I came back, as I was still in my last year of bachelors in Pakistan, although in those 10 days I did all the required paperwork like health card, sin card, PR card. Although PR card came in after 3 months and my parents brought it with them.

So in your case PR card will be mailed to your Canadian address, but then its your responsibility to bring it to Dubai for your next visit. Any one else can put some light on if COPR (landing paper) can be used for multiple entry, but as far as I remember they stamped and made that landing paper invalid.

Their wording does sound confusing.
But I think they mean to acknowledge receipt of your passport at VAC and its pending delivery for CHC Islamabad.

I received my notes the other day and i have some questions regarding that.

Notes were generated on 22-06-2015.

It says eligibility is in progress but later in notes1 the officer says he has recommended me passed.
Criminality- not started (updated: oct, 2014, Due Date:30-06-2015 )
Security- not started (updatedct, 2014, Due Date: 15-07-2015)
Paper file location- PA put away.

Can someone please elaborate these notes for me??

My notes were the same. But I applied in May 2014. Well at least eligibility is "recommend pass". Baqi CIC k kaam CIC koi na Janay.

first off, COPR is not a travel document. while Immigrant visa is valid only for once , i.e., 1 entry only
One can travel to Canada by road , let say from US to Canada, then the person doesnot require Immigrant visa and COPR will be enough to enter canada.
However, if PR person want to come by air (which is a usual case) he needs either a PR card or Travel visa, otherwise Airline will not allow the person to board the plane.

I think PR card can be mailed to you by your family member? (Senior members shed light on that please)

Apply for a Limited Validity Passport for the child.
You can make urgent request and submit copy of the plane ticket.

I don't think so. If the child already has a Canadian birth certificate, you can apply for an urgent REGULAR passport (which is good for 5 yrs)
LVP (good for 2 yrs) is valid only if you have already applied for Canadian Citizenship Certificate and need to travel to Canada urgently with proof of travel (purchased plane ticket).

Did anyone buy a ticket from PIA website using debit card?
I called helpline they said you can buy online with your debit card, as it is about 6000RS cheaper then buying from PIA office.
I never used debit card online. Is it safe ? And how its work?

i bought two time from Abu Dhabi it is ok, broblem occurs when u refund ticket, refund is difficult with card payment

Online purchase with Debit Card....not sure buddy
I never used debit card online.....Only credit card.
