Sorry to hear about that. I am very frustrated and disappointed by their performance as well.
I would suggest that you send them the requested documents via Email to London visa office at (LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca). In addition, send them hard copy via courier or registered mail to the London visa office address. I sent my additional documents by mail, email, case specific inquiry and I had uploaded them in GCkey/mycic account. I no longer trust their online system as it shuts down for maintenance every 2 weeks and sometimes shows wrong messages.

These days my account is showing that they need additional documents but i got no request in messages section. cic site has an alert that such messages are a technical flaw. I emailed LVO about a month ago about it and they didn't address my concern. Our MP has also not replied anything about my file. LVO SUCKS!!!

Agree. Always send your additional documents via all the following four channels as the cic online systems suck big time:

1) courier hard copies of requested documents to lvo
2) upload on mycic if upload option is available
3) upload via case specific enquiry
4) send attachments in email to lvo

I think lvo has a half yearly kpi to meet and report applications processed till 30th June and 31st dec which is why you will see them processing with fill speed in may-june and nov-dec. The figures of 2015-2017 support this assumption. However as ircc has a new policy in place to process applications quicker, the overall processing speed of lvo has increased considerably, so don't worry. (We had to wait for 9 months and a lot of mid 2016 applicants are still waiting. I would say late 2016 and 2017 applicants are extremely lucky.) Cheers!

1. Our child's birth certificate with both sets of parents information
2. My (sponsor's) travel history, ie passport pages with stamps on them
3. Police certificate from England again as first one was a disclosure document for Scotland only and they want a full police check for the entire Uk.

My question now is, how do I get a birth certificate that has both set of parents information?

Please check from spreadsheet. A 2016 applicant got a request to provide long birth certificate that includes both parents name. Depending on which state your child is born you can contact the state offices e.g. Service Ontario or Service BC and ask them about it and explain you need it for immigration purposes.

No, LVO does not have any fixed time. you will have to chase them.

I contacted service Alberta and they have given me the details and it seems to be a very daunting process. I need to send the required documents within 45 days, hopefully I get it before then.

I just sent a case specific enquiry and going to call the MP guy. I am gonna send the information to LDNimmigration email as well.

I emailed LDN Immigration back in May that I was gone to visit my wife and whether they needed any additional documents. They responded earlier this week that any further information needed would be requested. I don't know what to believe from them anymore.

You mean July 7.
You can make a separate thread for acquiring birth certificate from Alberta in the forum. Maybe someone can give u an advice to get it quickly done.
