Respectfully bro your case was straight forward and a normal case so IMHO sending that stuff probably added to processing time. They have to review the stuff, then add it to your file. Takes time and they question why u are sending. We can agree to disagree, not a big deal.

nah, i'll disagree with you on that one. i read the officer's notes on my file. you didn't.

also note that i did not recommend or advise anyone to send in proof voluntarily. i was asked a question and i answered it.

lastly, i can't speak for other cases; what worked for one person may not necessarily work for others, so yes, it's always a good idea to do your due diligence before contacting LVO for any reason.

Along with NADRA marriage certificate and English translation of Urdu Nikah Nama (attested) should we send original Urda Nikah nama or copy will be fine?

Original Urdu nikkah nama is best. However, check the latest documents checklist for current requirement. Nadra marriage certificate is not compulsory but sending it could add credibility to genuineness of marriage.

According to posts written by u there were no red flags or concerns raised (except expired PCC) in your GCMS notes. I've read almost 1000 posts on this forum, LOL.

I am confused . My lawyer says u don't need to send anything else only except if your traveling to meet ur spouse. I am based on the recent Pfl am eager to send something. But then like my lawyer said why do you want them to think we didn't ask anything from this person and he is sending automatic stuff. I understand flx and Rashid point it just so unpredictable that one can only wait and see.

Absolutely agreed, however the speardsheet is the only source that I have to see what is happening. If there is any other source please share so we can also get more information. I have no visibility of all those hundred of Pak cases being processed every month which you mentioned. There is a purpose to create this spreadsheet and lets not undermine the importance of it.

The spreadsheet is just a microcosm of all the cases being processed. There are hundreds of Pak cases being processed every month.

The spreadsheet is great, Alhamdulillah. You can do some research and find out how many cases LVO has per month. It has already been discussed in the forum. There were I believe around 300 cases for Oct 2015 and 300 for Nov 2015. There were around 90 cases for Dec 2015. I did not look into 2016 stats because it was unnecessary for me.

there weren't red flags, but there were a few concerns (or possible push factors as they call them) noted by the officer.

fortunately sending in proof voluntarily did not cause any delays as it was reviewed on the same day my file went up for initial review.

I dont have Quran over head pics!! cause we donot BELIEVE in this custom!! God! How on earth do we explain to CIC that its not our personal belief!

They need Quran on the head whilst leaving, crying/emotional pics at rukhsati, leaving and waving ta-ta to your families etc. All things making it look like you are now off to your piya's house.
