So, does anyone else have any good news for us today? It's been a big day already, but there is still a few more who I expect will tell us they are landing, and a few more still to tell us they have AIP or DM :)

It's true -- but there is differences. For example, she grew up in Moscow, right. So, sometimes I have had to reign her in from embarrassing herself ;). And if you watch any of the Fail Army wideos on youtube, Ode To Russia says it all. Very often she doesn't watch for traffic before crossing a road...
Mr. carol honks when someone cut in front of say a few choice words in Portuguese and see someone he knows a honk and a hello

Hi experts,
I posted this question on another thread but it was not active. Thus, I post here.

I would be grateful if you guys could share your perspective on my issue. For your information, my PR is based on CSQ certificate. I will be getting my PR on or before November 2017 and I live in Australia now. During the CSQ process, due to lack of points for CSQ and some other reasons, I added my wife name as a non-accompanying member in the application. Currently, we both live in Australia ( we are not Australians) and she is on dependent visa. More importantly, CIC requested her PCC and medicals as like the way they did to me. Also, her name with UCI no in GCkey account as my dependent.

My questions are:

1. As her details are already in CIC database, does it make my spousal sponsorship application move faster than that of a normal one?

2. Is there any link to calculate spousal sponsorship visa process time in Canada embassy in Australia?

3. As I know, getting a visitor visa for a spouse is not easy, but still possible. My wife is well educated and our bank balance is good too. Also, we live in a country which is not a home country for both of us. In this case, what is the possibility to get a visitor visa for her?

Thank you in advance.
@profiler already answered to your post, but wouldn't be possible to change your application with your wife as accompanying? That would be so much less troubles and also you would save a lot of money.

Regarding your point #3, does any of you or your wife have any family in Canada? If yes, have them write an invitation letter for your wife. If she is currently working, that's also a plus and I would suggest to apply soon for a visitor visa. Having a job, having a lease, whether in Australia or in her home country, are good to show ties abroad. The fact that she travelled is a plus also. Actually, you being yet abroad might be a plus as well. I would suggest that she tries to apply for a visa before you actually come to Canada.

Totally agree here. Switching to accompanying would mean she could collect her PR when you do... Then you subvert the requirement to get a visa for her to visit. She will have a PR Card.
