I just received the medical request today and booked an appointment for tomorrow. Just wondering normally how long it takes to pass the medical after the doctor submitting it? Hope AIP and landing is not far away!

Hello! I have a question for people who got the faulty 'We need a document from you' on MyCIC. Did it go away on its own, or do we need to report a technical error or is it still there?

This happened to me today. Needless to say that there were no emails or messages of any kind. What's curious is that CIC has removed the error message (visible at login) they had regarding this issue. I tried calling CIC thrice today but no luck. Wonder what's going on. So confused.

Cross long time now see. I would call CIC to confirm.

I explained using the analogy, that his fire trucks lights stop, and the siren doesn't work any more when the batteries have run out. The car has a battery too. "How many?" Like I think he was just about to tell me to get the batteries from his fire trucks!

I am going to have to be careful with this one!

It's been an occasional problem. My dad is a long time (since 1960's) mechanic. We checked the battery in the winter and it was tested fine, at nearly freezing. But corrosion of electrical wiring can become an intermittent problem. So, in this case, my car (a Dodge Charger) has the battery in the trunk, and a heavy wire from the trunk to the engine bay is there. That wire, does have at least one end that is corroded. When I tried to boost with another running car, it refused. So, the belief is, we have to fix primary electrical wiring

So, good guess!

My explanation that the battery "was dead" to my son -- "How many batteries do you need? Can't we just go home and put new ones in? How many do you need?"

... he is 4

Congrats! Seems like roughly 10 days for submitting and hearing from CIC.

The May 2016's are feeling that now as they moved into June/July. I think they will end up with 3 silo's. April/May 2016, September/November 2016 and 2017.

I received a medical request too. Which was inn the form of email though. Dunno if it is an actual request or just glitch.

I have sent my medical report through CSE. No update yet. Let's see.

So, the IVR and my GCKEY says I've successfully passed the medical. Good news at least however the physician forwarded it to Ottawa? Why Ottawa?
