I know we know a family that immigrated here from Portugal and on there copr it said condition 51 on it it said undertaking 36 months they got landed in jan 2016. It is done

No. This is false, it does not depend on the officer.

Condition 51 is not handed out at the discretion of the officer, it no longer applies. PERIOD
You may have misunderstood what she was explaining in the height of your emotions.

Even if by accident it was printed on your landing documents, the condition no longer exists/does not apply anymore.

Even if you landed BEFORE the announcement was made and was given Condition 51 it doesn't matter...it will no longer apply.

I believe their systems might not be fully updated to stop printing the condition on the landing document, as another member noted...it took their officer 4 tries before it printed sans condition note.

What still exists is the Sponsors 3 year obligation to the Applicant.

That's what the original post in the Canada Gazette also stated. Once repealed, it would be retroactive. So anyone still under the condition would no longer have it. They won't reissue the COPR though.

Hi we are done our journey with my husband landed we had a rep I used to do is check ecase every 2 days get your and once a month called in ircc, and just wait for pcc request plus medical request first your sponsor has to be approved it all takes time paitenice is key plus praying

It's between CIC and your lawyer. You can only use eCAS (online status check). To be honest, your application is pretty young yet. You can probably take queues from your lawyer as to when things should be submitted. Ultimately they will have the liability problem if it fails, due to communication problems. If you fail to meet a request, they will give a prescribed amount of time over and above the limit, and if you do not submit, they usually just send a procedural fairness letter to warn you that they are going to cancel the application, and if they still don't get the info, they cancel the application.

Without lawyers, they communicate by email or telephone (and myCIC) typically.

Don't worry, not linking the application does not affect you or the processing.

After AOR they won't contact your rep until they need something, or if they have information on the progress of your application.
