So, the MP's office was pretty confused when I told them what we found yesterday. She tried to grasp at straws and say, "Maybe it's because the expiry date has passed". However, she is definitely chasing IRCC for clarification, because they had told her, and she had it noted that every time she got a case update, that it was done and not an issue.

So, more when they are able to reach their contact inside IRCC. She said anytime between this afternoon and Monday.

Hi I'm Feb 15 2016 applicant ;D I think we have the same situation here, both SA and PA say "decision made", mycic final decision says still in progress but "?" stated "decision made". Have you received any emails yet?

Nothing received yet, but from what I've read on this forum, it can take a few days, so we patiently wait.....

From what I have seen, there is no change. It looks like myCIC has become a dumb interface for sending "mail" messages.

In my GCMS notes it says medical passed and that was entered into system in August 2016.. Expiry date is 25 June 2017.

I notice in ours that there is a "Validity Date", a "Due Date", and a "Valid Until" date. Now, the way it worked when we submitted was the meds needed to be valid when they were received and as long as the results were good, it was fine.

HOWEVER: What I have from the MP's office is VERY INTERESTING.

When they get their updates, the staff on the phone sometimes does not advise on the "Valid Until" date. In our case, Nov 25, 2016. Therefore, the meds are required to be completed.

ALSO: What they had for me was: Security, Criminality, everything was done. Literally they only need the meds, and will decide once done. Literally the last step.

And how come they did not make a decision to just extend the validity of the medical?? Makes no sense.

I agree, that makes absolutely no sense. But should we really be surprised from IRCC?

Difference between us is that they are reviewing your eligibility and they have not started ours. When did you submit your application?
