If you don't pass the inspection, they either arrest the PA on the spot, or call you in for a pre-removal interview.

If I recall correctly, they got into trouble because they were not in fact living together so it could be that IRCC made a house visit because they were suspicious.

There is another thread on here where there is a 12 year age gap between the couple. One is 24 years old (Moroccan man) and the other is 36 years old (Canadian woman). They also had an interview but they were denied. From that the poster wrote it seems like a genuine relationship. So sad.

I know sometimes I read the assylum and refugee ones or they want to divorcee once they are here. I think there is more to the story. People like us who are legit go through so much and people like that make tough on everyone else case. At least we know we are legitimate
