Depends. In your case, probably just an address and phone number check.

They do call sometimes, if they suspect you're not living with your sponsor, to execute a home visit.

But as stated, more that likely just a details update.

What was the number, if I can ask, that they called from? The wife and I get a ridiculous number of telemarketing calls (and she gets calls because the number was previously-enjoyed). We tend to filter most and not answer.. this is the call we'd prefer not to miss..

Called back the number today and they said they had just been missing my medical exam but that they had received it over the weekend so they should be notifying me of a decision in the next few days.

My application got approved but it was outland application but i am in canada.

I am not sure do i have to send 2 pics along with passport ? If yes what is size of pics ?

if you are an outland applicant, then your question is not relavant to this thread, and it's appreciated that you keep the topic to inland processing on this thread. there are a dozen other threads on this board that are more relavant to your question. so in the future (and if you have more questions about outland processing) please choose an appropriate thread or start a new thread.

if you are an outland applicant, your passport request letter will have instructions for sending your passport to Ottawa as well as what you are required to send. The guide has the picture specifications.

@Profiler: So My wife tried to get back to the agent who called Friday but its only going to her VM, should we give up and wait for any doc they might request or email they might send then? My fear is that the phone call was to wrap up things quicker which will get delayed in absence of that conversation.

My opinion, if they need something that's blocking them, they will try again or via myCIC / email message. So I wouldn't really worry yet...

Ya know, about that....I am unable to access anything. I have been trying to link my account for months and keep getting error messages, then too many attempt messages. I have filed two separate inquiries for technical support. The first time I was advised to create a new account and try again. I am still waiting on the response from the second inquiry....I have no clue what is going on. Half the time, I believe I am overwhelmed because I literally am in the dark and have no clue what is going on with my case. (until I get a surprise letter in the mail like I did last Friday)...I would rather follow it and keep my sanity. Anyone else had a problem with this and any suggestions?
