Letter from your landlord indicating that you both reside at your current address and for how long. A bill in your name and a bill in spouse's name with same address. Bank statements with both names and address,

how about lease and family can write letters to to say they live together

I think the Russian Consulate "hired" this company to process visas. If you go to website and click on appointments it will let you select the closest office to where you reside.

yes anything with your wife and your name on it same addresses and what profiler say. you can use bank statesment,credit bill,mmm anything address to you two mail

What we did is showed her Ontario DL, my Ontario DL (same page, side by side). Also sent a copy of her OHIP card (the paper that has your address on it), her T4 from last year, the OWP that CIC sent to the same address, Service Canada's SIN registration paper (also shows address), I had copies of bother her and my banking address profiles (we maintain separate accounts for now). I also sent a copy of our online Telus profile page (shows my name connected to one phone, her name connected to the other under my account).

Enh... still funny to me. I see the rates from this place are better than the other that I found for single-entry wisa's. Not by much if you want a rush wisa. The sad part is that Canada tries to issue MEV's for the life of the passport, for $125CAD. Here, single entry wisa's are $175CAD.

It's been a big week. I finally received my OWP on March 28th! Now to wait for the excitement of PR. It will be nice to not constantly be checking the CIC website!

Thanks! It was so stressful not being able to work with a baby on the way. I've managed to get all my paperwork sorted in that regard now. So it's time to get ready for a return to work!

What should I expect to be the next step now that I have OWP?

10-17-16 was sent email advising family information form was not completed in full.
11-07-16 visitor record expired; was advised that was ok as I had implied status
03-08-16 contacted call centre CIC to check status of application and to see if there was any way I could apply for OWP while PR was processing. Was advised I was out of status and yes I needed to send in OWP to try and gain status again.
3-30-17 Received letter advising me that I was past the restoration period of 90 days and could not obtain restoration of status.
3-31-17 Spoke with call Centre CIC and was advised I am out of status, no implied status. Was told there is no way to restore my status at this time and I must wait until first letter of approval is received to be able to send in for OWP and obtain status again.

I am worried that because I have no status that my PR application will be denied, or that I will be deported. I have been told by several people on different forums not to get hung up on this information and to just wait and see where it goes, but this is the scariest situation I have ever been in. According to some things I have read that on CIC Manual IP8: CIC is committed to family reunification and facilitating processing in cases of genuine spouse and common-law partners already living together in Canada. CIC is also committed to preventing the hardship resulting from the separation of spouses and common-law partners together in Canada, where possible.

This means that spouses or common-law partners in Canada, regardless of their immigration status, are now able to apply for permanent residence from within Canada, in accordance with the same criteria as members of the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada class. The facilitative policy applies only to relationships in which undertakings of support have been submitted. ...

I am really unsure if this applies to me, I sent in my PR application before my status expired. I am seeking advice, etc. Thanks.

Go to Service Canada and request a Temporary SIN. Then get a job (assuming you want one)!

As I mentioned in the thread you created, it's next to no chance they will bother with you. There was one person who was chronically overstaying from the US. They did issue a letter to him for an interview (regarding a deportation order). His wife (with the help of this forum), applied inland for a PR for him. Remember, he has a court order, ordering his removal now; They eventually did not deport him, and after a couple interviews, and communications with CIC, they were able to pass first stage approval. I have not heard from them since New Years, so I can only assume they are still in Canada (as the deportation order was stayed indefinitely).

There are other stories like it. On this thread, some of the more regular (infrequent) contributors also are out of status. They have not reported any action against them. So, it's not like ICE deportation squads will show up at your door. You're really not of interest to them right now...

All that to say, relax and enjoy the time off. Good you read IP8, you can also try the OP manuals too .

Very similar to my situation. I'm also out of status because I sent in my original extension last minute and by the time they received it,it was 3 days expired so they refused it. I applied for restoration which also got refused. I think I applied for my sponsorship around the same time though but you're ok because you can apply for sponsorship even when you're out of status,just will have to wait for your owp until you get aip.

Oh, I m glad it will be over soon, a sole income is not
easy my wife can't work due to out of status, 2 years is a long wait,
i have to find time to bring her to apply for the SIN etc after landing successfully.

I cannot wait for this to be over and for me to be able to work again. I had a great job and they were sending me to finish my school through an apprenticeship program. Definitely heartbreaking. Same thing here. I been unemployed since my out of status 2 years ago. It's definitely hard with only my boyfriend bringing in an income. I cannot wait for this to be over and for me to be able to work again. I had a great job and they were sending me to finish my school through an apprenticeship program. Definitely heartbreaking. Wait, what? Apprenticeship? Can I ask what you were apprenticing for?
