Hi,
I would really appreciate if someone could share their experience on process after medicals are shown in Ecas as "passed".

After how long (aprox.) should I get SA, AIP, DM? And in which format? Am I going to receive a letter, an email, or just see the change in status in CIC? And if I have to do anything, send anything after I get to any of these stages?

Thank you!
Can you share your timeline?

Sure:
Inland- Common law

Applied: Jan 4th, 2017
AOR: Jan 26th, 2017
Police Certificate Submitted: Feb 17th, 2017
Medicals Passed: June 7th, 2017

Thank you
Your file was at the beginning of the new process. I thought SA was supposed to be within the first two months. That said, don't worry. It should all be finished by Jan 2018.

If they email you, that's how you'll receive it. If you have a rep, it will go there...

I don't trust not watch myCIC. Though it would suggest they are looking at your relationship evidence

Hi, got email for the schedule of landing interview in Ottawa on 30th Oct. I am May 2016 applicant, SA and AIP received on 20th September 2017. ECAS showed DM (Applicant side) on 4th October, though no DM email. MyCIC is still showing old status. I hope this info would help few people who are summer 2016 applicants.
Congratulations! It's time to plan your party!

That will be a sad day my friend...
Very true. Probably for me more than others. I've made many new friends along the way. But there comes a time to call the mission complete -- ask G. W. (Bush).

Besides -- @meaningful1 was starting to think I was a robot... maaaan will he be royally disappointed when he finds out I am just some geeky kid...

You can try calling to get an update. It's possible you didn't get the letter for passing eligibility. That said, you cannot connect your timeline with @Medieko unless you have also filed a refugee claim as well. This has a major impact on the timeline.

@sylvain1
just to prove my point (and level set @meaningful1 's expectation), I am presently the third night into reverse engineering Pseudo-Random Number Generators. This was the reading from Saturday night: http://www.ams.org/samplings/feature-column/fcarc-random . Tonight's adventure is the continuation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mersenne_Twister .

Why? Because I know PRNG's have a predictable output. It's interesting to find what people use as the "seed" (to insert entropy).

Point made? :D

I don't have refugee claim. It is inland sponsorship and I also sent them my wife

I wonder if it's that easy? ;) I joke, of course.

Yes I understand that you have an inland file. The person you quoted also has a refugee claim. Their timeline and processing will be different than yours as a result.

I was thinking about your post last night, and I think you might have AIP already. You might not receive the letter, but I would believe you have AIP, because your were out of status when you applied and you got your OWP recently. You are probably waiting on the security checks and you know that there is no relations between your country of origin and Canada, so it takes longer. I wish you will get news soon!

I also sent them my wife
I hope they sent your wife back ;) (shookhi mikonam!!)

Ahh yes. @masouleht @sylvain1 speaks truth here. If you were out of status when you applied, that would mean you are not eligible for an OWP until you reach AIP. Them granting the OWP would have to mean you have AIP. You can call to ask for a status update, and ask specifically if you have met eligibility requirements. If you passed those, then you're on track (like a lot of Summer-2016's).

I hope they sent your wife back ;) (shookhi mikonam!!)
You caught that too, huh? I shouldn't laugh, but that is was a running line from stand-up comedy for decades. "Take my wife, please!"
