SOWP 2016 applicants

Hi all,
My sowp file got rejected and they gave very silly reason that you have not provided documentation to demonstrate that your spouse is employed in a position that falls within NOC level A,B OR O.

I represented my employment letter in which it was clearly mentioned my job title, my salary, since how long i am working with that company, my duties and everything. But my duties and my jot title was in there so they can figured it out my NOC level really its frustrating because of this i got rejected this time. Before that i got rejected two different reasons but now this time this is something really stupid. If you guys have any idea or somebody rejected because of this reason please guide me. :-[ :-[

You have to ask your employer for a letter specifically stating your NOC # and if it falls under NOC 0, A or B.

Is there anyone who applied SOWP Paper application at Chandigarh,India ON or AFTER June 28th, 2016 who has been able to link paper application with online myCIC account?

Hi,

I have applied for SOWP from Poland on 28th July and got a reply on 30th August that:-

I have concerns that you have not fulfilled the requirement put upon you by section 16(1) of
IRPA which states that a person who makes an application must answer truthfully all questions
put to them for the purpose of the examination and must produce a visa and all relevant evidence
and documents that the officer reasonably requires.

Specifically, I have concerns that some of the photograph that you have submitted have been
digitally modified.

What does this mean? I have applied by paper and submitted some of the photographs along with it.
What should i do now?

I guess people who are applying from South India are getting the Approval in less than 45 days of the submission. I had two of my close friends getting it within 1.5 months and both submitted from Hyderabad (Online).

urgent help needed for applying visitor visa after a work permit refusal (reason unable to provide sufficient proof of relationship).since my wife has only 6 months in her PGWP, I cannot reapply for sowp.is is it okay if I apply for a visiting visa. what documents I need to show them that we are a true couple and more proof of our relationship other than marriage certificate.

My husband applied tonight for his SOWP at the Peace Arch Border and was issued 3 years Open Work Permit.. same validity as my PGWP! SOO HAPPY!!!

My application status says open and final decision says not started, it has changed today as before it was in progress. Can someone plz help me out in knowing that what does it mean? Should I expect any news soon? Thanks

Hi,
I guess you can apply for Visitor visa since your spouse has 6 months validity on her Visa, I guess it's better you both write a cover letter explaining about your relationship, attach some wedding and casual photographs, and if you have a joint account or FD show the copy of that, and most importantly get that relationship letter notarized. And ask you wife to write a letter explaining the situation and that she will take care of your financial needs once you are in Canada.

i finally got refused a ssecond time for my sowp. total of 4 refusals now 2 visitor n 2 sowp. im glad cic has made it clear that ther is no chance i should try ever again. But i wish all the other applicants gudluck

i did email my lawyer's assistant but no email back yet from them. its ok dear reasons dnt matter now. we did our best in the 4th time already but if they still find reasons i dnt think ther is anything new that i can show them now. gudluck n god bless for ur application.
