Hello to who reads this,

I am wondering as someone who lives in Korea and trying to sponsor my wife. I have been working here for the past year and a half as an English Instructor. The question #5 on the Document Checklist (Supporting documents for sponsor) asks me to provide documentation showing that I can support my wife. Would providing a copy of my contract here and an explanation on how I plan to continue supporting her once we are in Canada suffice?

If you are someone who was living abroad , what did you do? any information would be helpful

Do I need to provide a Note of assesment or Proof of income statement (Option C) if I have been living outside of Canada or just provide documentation that proves I can support her and myself ?

Unless you have Canadian sourced income while residing in Korea, you won't have noa or option C. In this case, just show any document that proves you can support her and yourself.
 
Hi I know It’s been awhile but I was wondering if you knew if it would be okay for my brother to send me his NOA since he will be supporting us until I find a job back in Canada. Is it okay for him to send me his NOA SCANNED through email, and I would then print it out? Or is it better for him to have it printed and sent to me by mail? I don’t know if they would reject the application because it is scanned and not printed!
 
Banking information for the past few months is more important. NOA doesn't really show that you have extra savings to support other people.
 
Wife - Canadian, Myself - Indian , we both are currently in US. Wife is not employed and I am working on H1B.
Need some guidance on how to address this part in the PR application when sponsor is unemployed.
