Somebody knows CEC GAP REACHED?

I feel truly uncomfortable! Does somebody received from CIC that notice CEC sub gap already Reached?

You need to be patient. As far I know the CAP is not reached yet.
Last CC charged was for an OCT applicant filed on 23rd Oct .

Please be advised that your application was returned with all attachments on January 23, 215 as the MI12 Global cap has been reached. A letter of explanation was provided along with the application package.

Oh that sounds horrible.. Feeling bad for your friend and people who applied after. CIC sucks they should have updated system where applicants could check the current cap numbers. Returning applications after 3 Mnths do not make sense.

Issue

This Operational Bulletin (OB) provides guidance on the processing of FSW, FST and CEC applications, and the twelfth set of Ministerial Instructions (MI12), which comes into force on May 1, 2014.

Background

On June 18, 2008, the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) was amended to give the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration the authority to issue instructions that would ensure the processing of applications and requests be conducted in a manner that, in the opinion of the Minister, will best support the attainment of the immigration goals set by the Government of Canada.

MI12 comes into force on May 1, 2014, and applies only to FSW, FST and CEC applications received by the Centralized Intake Office (CIO) in Sydney, Nova Scotia, on or after this date. Refer to the Canada Gazette for the full text of these instructions.

Thats fine, My friend applied in Aug 2014, he got File number just last week. So for Oct application it might take time.

Very stressed. My application received on Oct 21st, the first day CIC stopped cashing out. With this news and PGWP expiring in a few months, I am really stressed.
