OMG - they are closing border
This is the news: "We will be denying entry to Canada to people who are not citizens or permanent residents. Exceptions will be made for air crews, diplomats, immediate family members of citizens and U.S. citizens".

I think people who are seeking 'soft landing' may be classified as 'Permanent Residents' per above statement, though this is slightly vague assumption.

I think that they will extend the COPR date to land at later time.

Hi All,

I am planning for landing this weekend. Please let me know which bridge is best for soft landing.
1. Peace Bridge
2. Rainbow Bridge

Please share latest landing experience which related to these 2 bridges.

Thanks.

I am in a tricky situation. I live in Ohio.
I have my spouse Unaccompanying COPR expiring in July. I don't drive.
I have stamped H4 visa till 2022 from my husband's previous employer and approved i797 till 2022 from his current employer.
Is there anyone here who did pedestrian crossing of Rainbow bridge and came back via AVR same day or next day? I think the process is called flagpoling. Can anyone advise?
