I just received my medical request today. I received it exactly after 1 year. I sent my file last year on 21st Feb, 2016 and my file was received on 24th Feb, 2016. Anybody else received their MR?

What is kinda sad, is that guy from Battlefords Immigration help was right 6 months from RPRF to Med request. Took u 5.5 months

Application submitted August 29, Got aor Dec 11, 2016 and went out of Canada Dec 11. Sorry might be silly question, just these what ifs question. Thanks for any help.

I do not think so. I went on vacation in summer as well while got AOR before that. If we need to update (which I truly believe we do not need to), what about passport. we got extra stamps for travelling outside.

It depends on one more thing I believe, if you look at that form IMM 5562E, it clearly state that "List all your trips, you or family member have taken outside of your country of origin or of residence in the last ten years", so I think if you are travelling any other country other then your home country of origin or residence, you have to update this form again.

I might be wrong, but there people who travel for work (truck drivers for example).

Do they need to update the papers every time they cross border over the time of 15 months?

My way of submitting documents is this. Don't send CIC anything until they request for it. Unless its important to your application like a job change etc.

They will sometime ask for a updated Schedule A many months after or sometimes they don't.....
