I already submit my police cert when submit my application file to Malaysia Visa Office. May be different Visa Office different requirement.

I heard said ONLY the MR will transfer to Manila, issue visa still in charge by SGVO. Let's wait for ivelnal reply.

Hi Kidrobot,

Singapore Police need a letter from the High Commission of Canada before they give you the clearance. That request letter will be given to those living in Singapore or stayed here for more than 6 months once the PPR is approved.

For the MR, I will asked them once we submit the needed docs.

Thanks.

Hi Taivoi,

How about you? Does your medical report was addressed to Manila Visa Office?

Thank You!

Congrats Ivenal! In the email did not mention that, but where we'll take medical exam told us that, all medical result will be forward directly to Manila office via Electronic way (they have built E-Medical system since Nov 2012). Did you get each member of your family form in each different email or just 1 email with all the forms for all family members?

Hi Taivoi,

Thanks. The address is in the attached medical letter.
I made an appointment and they mentioned that they will do an Electronic way also.

Yes, we received an separate email for all the family members although they also attached the medical forms in the main email approval.

Did they asked you to furnished a documents like below:

Evidence that your sponsor resides in Manitoba. This includes but is not limited to: pay
stubs, T4 slips, utility bills, and banking history

I am not sure if this should be original or copy.

Thanks!

Regards,
Ivelnal

Hi Ivelnal,

Pay either one of the requested docs will be enough to proof the sponsor is staying in Canada? In case I also receive the same request from them so I think I better ask together at here.

Thanks.

This is the complete details of that requirement:

Evidence that your sponsor resides in Manitoba. This includes but is not limited to: pay
stubs, T4 slips, utility bills, and banking history. Driver's licences, Property tax
assessments, Social Insurance or Health Insurance cards are not sufficient

They did not mentioned anything if it is a copy or not. I believe it is a copy since we also provide the identity card of our sponsor when we applied for the PPR.

Hi Taivoi,

Kindly confirm if you have the same requirement also.

Thanks.

I believe they accept photocopy of document. Provide as much as you can to convince them.

Did they mention Email or post to them?

Thanks

Hi All,

I'm new to this forum and i would like to
join this group for sharing updates and
progress of our PR application.

I am a PR here and had applied from Philippines
and all i thought is Manila will be my visa office
as selected on my application form, but to my
surprise they(CEM) forwarded my files to Canadian
Embassy Singapore. That means that my waiting time
will be doubled.

Here's my timeline:
6/15/12- application submitted to MB
Stream: FSW backlog reduction under MPNP
6/25/12- AOR received
7/20/12 - Nomination approved
9/25/12- Visa application submitted to CIC
10/2/12- Visa application received by CIO intake office
11/08/12 - DD encashed
11/22/12 - AOR from CIO
- waiting for updates....

Hoping to receive MR soon.

Good Luck to all of us!

No, do medical exam, waiting until hard copy of PPR arrive, in my case.

Thanks for your answer. Wondering is it safe to courier the passport through DHL or UPS? Anyone use these two courier service to send passport before?
