CRS where did you fly from? did you get special baggage allowance from your airline?

I flew from Dhaka, Bangladesh by Qatar Airways. Baggage allowance was 30 Kg. They told me as a permanent mover I won't get more than that.

Good news. We got our Medical Request via email also.

The email was dated January 14, 2013 and we only noticed it today. We have 60 Days to complete it.

I hope we can beat the deadline.

I noticed in the letter that the Medical Records will be forwarded in Manila?

Here is the address stated in the medical letter for the Physician:

EMBASSY OF CANADA
REGIONAL MEDICAL OFFICE (MANILA)
LEVEL 7 TOWER 2 RCBC PLAZA
6819 AYALA AVENUE, MAKATI CITY
1200 PHILIPPINES

It should be Singapore right? Since our papers are being processed by High Commission of Canada Singapore?

I am planning to go in their office tomorrow to clarify it.

Congrats ivelnal! I hope I can receive my MR soon! I also heard that we (for those who submit their file to SGVO) need to submit our MR to Philippine instead of SGVO. Looks like Manila Visa Office work faster than other country even though their work full up till the neck.

oh now i puzzled. I think 1st it change its status, then mailed for MR. but ur case this chain doesn't work. god knows what will happen with me. did u get passport request?

They send two copy of emails: first is with Passport Request(stated in the body of email) and second they forwarded the same email without the Passport Request, a bit confusing.

I will just rely on the checklist (needed documents, police clearance, medical request and documents (utility bills and banking history) of our sponsor) they gave which is the same for both emails.

I have some questions. We need to submit again the document that you mention? Need to submit police cert again? Also need to submit sponsor's banking history and utility bills?
