No update on ECAS yet... My wife asked IOM when they sent her xray, they told her Nov 2 (Friday), so Manila probably received it Nov 5 (Monday). I sent SVO an email. They replied: "Case pending medical assessment. Please wait to hear from us". So I think it should be soon, hopefully this week or the next. Did your wife get her passport yet? How long does it usually take for them to send back PP to IOM after issuing Visa?

Not yet....Stevent told me his wife received in 4 weeks & 2 days from dropped off & pickup at IOM. Waiting a call from IOM is my hope...

My wife just informed me that she received a package from Singapore Visa Office this morning (Nov 22nd) asking her to re-medical and submitting her Passport. Finally we moved on to the next step after the status changed to "in process" on Sept 18th.

Thanks bluenoser! I Really appreciate your help and this site through which I got to know about this system otherwise I would never know. It sounds an amazing system to have a clue on what is going on. I have already started searchin about this GCMS thing. by the way I have some questions regarding this. could GCMS provide u with what u were looking for I mean satisfy ur information need?? do I have to paper mail or can just email the forms? And how long it took for them to reply u? I hope to use this soon.

If you check this forum posts from January 2012 to August 2012 you will find lots of posting regarding GCMS. Many of us were sending GCMS request at that time and we had shared lots of info during that time line in the forum.

If you have someone living in Canada that person can ask for GCMS behalf of you. The person who will request the GCMS has to be Canadian. It takes 4 weeks to get answer. If the file is small they email nor big file they send by post.
If you check this forum posts from January 2012 to August 2012 you will find lots of posting regarding GCMS. Many of us were sending GCMS request at that time and we had shared lots of info during that time line in the forum.

i have skype for the past 1year,then the year before the cell history plus took a pictures of me with the hundreds of calling cards on my bed from the year after marriage(i saved all of them its like a treasure to me lol). but the skype history i removed all the short call, the missed call and no answer call cuz it would make dozenz of wasted papers also removed the bad word i wrote when i was pissed with my hubbyto lol AM so freaking T_T i think am gonna sh*t my pants the time he will be attending the interview.

nah i just copy past the call history on wordpad. I dont know if theres any other way to get it.

My friend who applied for her husband in feb 21st 2012 and file transferred to singapore on may 17th 2012.....same time line as me....but yesterday her husband got an email requesting for passport for PR VISA.......and i didnt get any notification yet

Hi diyabrar: that's a good news though! SVO is moving. Yours is on the way - I guess. Just hold your breath and cross your fingers. We all should wish good luck to each other. Thnaks for your post.

Hi WOW!! Very good news. I am having hope on the SVO. Lets cross our fingers altogether, buddies! I heard SVO has almost more than 3000 family class files so far. I get fever when I think about it. Now I think its time to open separate CIC office for few countries that SVO processes files for (too many countries). hah?
