Oh I made a mistake, 1.73 isn't my creatinine number, its the number on all the equations.. I read the report wrong..

I still need to make some changes, but its not as bad as I thought..

Also the report states no blood, protein or glucose detected in my urine..
So what was was your creatinine at first and eGFR? moreover what about your meeting with panel physician

Literally just got home from the hospital, tests done, and pretty much what I thought,

First test has a Serum Creatinine level of 132 giving a eGFR of 61/59,

Retested today and my eGFR is 110

The nephrologist said the working out must have given my creatinine levels a boost but its all fine now so not to worry..

Ill see what IRCC say about my first test, but if they need more details I can provide them what they need so I'm not stressed..

apart from that.. all good.. carry on my workouts tomorrow

Oh great. So just a wrap up for my own understanding ... correct or add where I am wrong.
You had abnormal report at your medical.
Doctor called and asked you to meet the panel physician/ Nephro.
You had retest (only creatinine) before meeting the physician/ Nephro.
And now waiting for the IRCC to update on the physician/ Nephro report.

Basically my workout put more creatinine in my blood, this was picked up in the first test and gave me a false positive saying I had poor kidney function. That report has been sent to the IRCC so they will most likely want another one done just to be safe.

Today I went to the hospital and redid the test, the specialist looked at my results, both blood and urine and said my creatinine levels are perfectly normal and no trace protein elements in my blood so kidney function is healthy.

Now I'm waiting for IRCC to get back to me (could take a month or two) so I can see what they want.

Good to hear that, just realized from your old posts that you are on a family/spousal sponsorship and for that medical rules such as inadmissibility does not apply.

Last year I had problems with high creatine. And I took N-acetylcysteine (NAC) for about a month, which can help lower creatinine levels by slowing down its production in the body.

lots of people make this mistake, Creatinine isn't a problem, it doesn't do anything bad to you, what it is, is a marker for possible Kidney function.. the issue is its impacted by a number of things lifestyle related that have nothing at all to do with how well your kidneys are.

Such as intense workouts for me, or high protein diets.. ect ect

Both of these things are perfectly fine for kidneys.. but they increase creatinine levels..

Best thing to do is check your levels every year or so, and if you score below 60 speak to your doctor so they can look at giving you additional tests..

Additionally, for those seeking dietary support in managing creatinine levels, certain supplements from iHerb may be beneficial. Some discount for iHerb in Canada you can find here. Products containing ingredients like cranberry extract or astragalus root have been associated with kidney health support, potentially aiding in maintaining optimal creatinine levels alongside a balanced lifestyle.
I completely agree! It is important to avoid misinterpretation of creatinine levels and understand the different influences of lifestyle. Yearly checks and consultation with a doctor if levels are low is a sound practice.
