Already contacted MP in September 2022.
IRCC's response was that the application processing time is 20-22 months so we need to wait but recently the processing changed to 17 months. We finished 15 months already. Don't know if there will be any magic within the next two months

I contacted my MP as my husbands application will be going into 17 months next week and he has been stuck on eligibility since Oct 2022 with no information about his application what so ever. This is what she said;

" While the Government of Canada endeavours to complete applications such as yours in a timely manner, additional time will be taken if required, 17 months is the suggested processing time but this is a guideline. If the government feels it needs more time, they will take it. As yours is a sponsorship, it takes more time"

It's just frustrating because there has been no progress in my husbands application at all since Oct 2022 when eligibility changed to in progress and that was the first update we received since March 2022 after he completed medical! I see people that applied after us already receive their PPR's and it's so discouraging and I just don't know what to do at this point :(
