Finally we received PPR. Passport submitted at Newdelhi VAC.

Hi All,

I have just applied my PR spouse application today on 22nd Oct,2022

My husband lives in canada and he holds canadian PR and he sponsored me spouse PR.

could you guys please suggest with your valuable comments in comment section that how much time it is gonna take for my AOR and what timeline i can expect for my file to process.

In Addition to this i have other query should i go for visitor visa along with this PR file?
Will it worth or not?

It will take you 3 months to get your AOR in general. If you are in a hurry to come to Canada, then I guess you have to apply for a visitor visa while you are waiting for your PR, the whole process will take you at least a year to complete.

Maybe they are doing system upgrade? Did you submit a ticket to their IT for the technical problem?

In my case I got pre arrival on 18th oct nd ECAS updated decision make on 9th nov but yet no PPR?? Can u tell how much time will thy take to receive PPR

I got the PPR email on the same day as the DM notification though.

Mine still is stuck on eligibility. I applied for my wife in September 2021. The new portal seems like it is going through pretty fast, yet the old ones are still backlogged.

We applied on October 2021. Same status. They seem to be processing applications randomly. No merit for people who applied first.
