In the month of July , CA Government prioritized Work permits , LMIA for certain NOC codes associated with Medical background and others. Wondering if certain directions are for PR processing as well ? (For particular NOC codes) . If anyone in this group has this information please share it with me.

Can someone confirm if there are VACs in the US where I can give biometrics? I'll be traveling to the US for work next month and if possible, I'd happily give my biometrics there.

Got approved for LMIA and WP a month ago, biometrics are done last year. Will that speed up getting PR?
Thank you and good luck to everyone!

I haven't gotten any updates yet. According to the tracker, it seems like IRCC is currently focusing on FSW - outland stream.

Is the progress bar really true? I think it just increases by ~1% everyday and is not dependent on the officer's progress.

As per the immitracker those who have received AOR on Sept 2 got their Medical updates today,
So for first updates for CEC applicants we're looking about 48 -50 days after AOR.

Biometrics Scheduled: 19 Oct 2020
Update #2

MyCIC Account updated: 19 Oct 2020 (within 45 mins of giving biometrics)
Had scheduled an appointment at the nearest ASC center. They are showing appointments only after 2 weeks. Took BIL letter (it will be signed & stamped by officer at ASC), ASC appointment letter & passport for the appointment. No waiting, in/out in 15-20 mins.
Good luck everyone!

You are right ; in USA appointments are available only after 14 days. Do we need to pay any additional charges for Biometric Appointment ? Also Does this delays (of 2 weeks ) the overall progress of the application or these are simultaneous activities.
