Agree and to make things more complicated.

For me, it's in IP2 since Oct 17, MEP.
"We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information"

and

VO being Sydney, NS

So not really sure what to expect.

Found out the change as I got an email about update in profile, checked and found I have got a message on How to find a job in Canada and BG status changed.
Literally I had removed all tabs from my chrome and decided not to check application everyday and do it every three days so was sitting tight since morning :)

Same! I got the how to find a job mail last Friday, but my status was IP2 throughout. I asked CIC a week ago and the agent said my file was at CIO Sydney. Hope this update means it's transferred elsewhere.

Hi. I see that you had some issues with your Biometrics. I got mine collected on October 14th, but the Biometrics status is - we need your fingerprints, although the biometrics information got updated the same day. I sent emails to VAC and the Canadian Embasy in Romania and they told me that the information is on my file. I also submitted a form on October 25th, but did not receive a reply. Can you please tell me if your status got updated to "Completed" and when? Thanks.
