For anyone still wondering if they do updates on weekends, they do!.. Went to bed at around midnight last night and checked my wife's UCI before going to bed and it was the same as always: "1.We received your application for permanent residence on September 24, 2014." I got up around 7:30 am here on Saturday morning and checked it again and it now says: "1. We received your application for permanent residence on September 24, 2014." and "2. Medical results have been received." I was wondering about that as many people have stated that theirs has said both those things for many months now while ours just stated App Received etc.. HalleluYah! 8)

Very good to hear evadyrehs LOL
But seriously, nice!

I'm starting to get the feeling that Ottawa is requesting more "proof" of anything just to make it APPEAR they're working, when all they're really doing is stalling and biding themselves more time so they can work on XY or Z.

Oh and I love the line "Thank you for the interest you have shown in Canada." No CIC, pull your heads out of your ass, this isn't the Express Entry queue your looking at, it's the Family reunification.

As for sending it all in one file, I can tell you how to do it on a Mac. Open Automator, choose "workflow", then go to "PDF's". From there drag and drop in the order you want the PDF's combined, then double click on "combine PDF's", look to the top right and click "run". Bear in mind, the PDF needs to be less than 5 MB. If it's greater, you can then rerun it in Automator to compress the file.

Thanks for the tip Saria1! My wife is a graphic designer, so that would not be a problem.
Does CIC have a day off Monday?

No Monday is an American Holiday. CIC was off last Monday for Victoria Day.

That's awesome! Congrats!

You ever wonder how many Sept applicants have gotten DM or Landed and just aren't coming back to update us or the spreadsheet? I like to imagine it's most them, and that just means the few of us left are due any minute now...

FYI the stage 2 processing times have changed and the September spreadsheet column C needs to be updated as it is out of sync. Stage 2 processing times

Processing times by VO can be updated by the individuals.

Theres a lot more than few for Sept, have you looked at the Ottawa sheet?

Whoever the admin is should control the data in a more efficient way. There is more than one London applicant however this would mean each individual user would need to change column C in each of their respective rows, and some users will not be aware of this change, so if someone looked at the spreadsheet they could see some London users' column C's being multiple values which would confuse them.

As a developer and an admin of a very well thought out spreadsheet (the London spreadsheet) this spreadsheet is not very well designed. I am not even sure why that column is there, having a link to the CIC page where it lists the processing times would be better rather than having out of date data in the spreadsheet.

Just my 2 cents!

Maybe you should read back and see that the sept spread sheet was DELETED and I took the time to RETYPE all that data out. So you know something, I did the best I could with the knowledge I had. Instead of criticizing maybe you should of stepped up and helped when we lost the September spread sheet.

Hey Andrew, I'm sure the Sept group would love your help. They had a problem where the admin of the spreadsheet just suddenly deleted it. Heck, have a look at the October sheet too, I'd love for someone to change it so everyone was categorized by VO's instead of "recvd Date". :D

I was aware that it was deleted but that does not explain why the spreadsheet has data in it which is not controlled by us, so basically having it in there creates a dependency which means it can become out of date. I was not criticizing I was merely pointing out that it made no sense (to me) to have that column in there, and in actual fact would have added to the time it took you to copy over the data.

Also, writing in caps lock is Internet for shouting and there is no need for shouting at someone on any forum. Treat others how you want to be treated yourself.

Hi saria1, yeah the September spreadsheet definitely needs some work, if you look at the London spreadsheet, which is considered to be one of the best on this forum, you can see the level of care, thought and effort we took to develop it. I would be happy to help in any way I can.

Thanks Andrew!!! Bear in mind I'm not the admin for the the Oct sheet, but for me, the sheet seems to only work in the Google browser, in Safari it's giving me weird glitches and errors. I posted once asking if anyone else was experiencing the same issue, but I had no response. I can confirm it's glitching in Safari on my iMac and Macbook. Also, I once tried to "figure out" how to organize the applicants by VO. All it did was change the Visa Offices and not everyone involved, so I immediately undid it. If you have any tidbits or advice, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!!!
