I got an email from Citizenship and Canada stating that they received my application and providing all details but when I check online says it cannot find my application.

May be I am doing something wrong when I am checking online. Which Identification do we input?

Usually ecase is updated on Tuesday nights. If you got the email just now, Wait for couple of days or until next wednesday to have ecas updated. Its all ok. Dont worry.

I can see my ecas status updated today.. Now its IN PROCESS from Nov 21..

My application was received on Sep 29

I did not receive any mail today from CIC However, 2 weeks to date I have another E-cas update today
My received line disappeared. I know this means they are working on my file, but I wonder what''s going on so soon?

Just called CIC and they mentioned that if I had received email notifying that the application has been received then my ecas will be updated only beginning Jan 2015. Wierd process.

What number did you use to call them? I haven't received any news from them.
My original application (July 27th) was returned due to missing passport copy. I sent it back on Sep 27th

You may also call the Citizenship and Immigration Call Centre toll-free number at 1-888-242-2100. Waiting is usually 10 minutes

In case you don't already know, welcome to the club of new routine.. Not a single applicant has access to eCas (apparently that started on a few random applicants since June)

Im on the same boat!! well lets give it two more weeks and hope for the best in the meanwhile. Some October applicants have already received their AOR which doesnt make sense to me at all...

Relax!!! it's still early to receive a book....

I called up CIC today and they could see my file in the system. It's not in process yet.
The agent confirmed that if it's in the system that means it is complete (will not be returned).
My file was received on 1 October.
I don't see anything on ecas yet.
I have not received any AOR.
