SO finally got the passport back with the CPR. Going to Niagara Falls Next weekend for the Landing.
One of the Most important journey of my life is almost complete and will begin the next chapter as a Permanent Resident.
Finally got , which most people in developing country just dream about or pay thousands of dollars to get it.
Thankful to God and all the AWESOME people in this AWESOME Forum !!!!
I hope I will see you all at the other end of the rainbow soon.

I dont understand why timeline or copy of GCMS notes is important here, guys i am stressing out when I always see people asking this questions, time is of the essence, I explained my situation anyone to reply quickly? or give advices or whatever is good to know what's gonna happen next!

I applied on Sep 2012, AOR Nov 2012

Since then nothing when I check Ecas it says "we received your application on nov 2012" it has not changed till now

Now anyone to coment on my situation

Well there are lot of people under review right now, my file is also under review I applied on 31 oct they told me that their are many files before me who are waiting for review so u just have to wait n

Guys,

Just did my landing. Since I live in Ottawa, I went to the Ogdensburg–Prescott International Bridge. We had lunch at this nice pizza place at Ogdensburg and then went back to Canada. The only thing the immigration officer wanted to see was proof of funds. She wasn't particularly nice, but then again she wasn't particularly rude either. She was annoyed that my pay stubs were so informal (I work at a small firm), and she noted that I could've done those myself. Of course, I had additional documents (bank statement, a more formal letter from my employer in letterhead etc.) so that wasn't a big problem. The whole thing was done in less than 10 minutes! So happy this is finally over!

Hey Everyone!

Around July I decided to stop stressing out about the PR so I also stopped looking at the forum day by day..
and when I got my medicals and everything else I forgot to update everything on here..
Today I finally completed my landing! ;D
Here's my timeline -
MR\Biodata\RPRF - Sep\11
Medicals done - Sep\24
Passport photocopy requested - Oct\2 (sent on the 4th)
Cpr - Oct\9
Landing - Oct\12

Landing experience... AMAZING!
Went to the states for couple of hours, totally a waste of time because we went to a ghost town (Ogdensburg). Came back to Canada and it took no more then 10 min.. She asked me if I know my rights and told me I need to change my sin\ohip numbers, she had also asked me for all of my old permits(Student permit and my old work permit) so they can destroy them.. typed a few things on the computer and sent me to my way!

Such a relief!!!

Guys, I might have a problem here I think. I did my medicals last thursday & since then everyday that doctor calls me up and asks me to redo some or the other test. I dont know whats going on?? Now I am really worried as to whats gonna happen?

Don't they have a list of tests to be done for a PR process? It ought to be.

They have it! They also made me some documents which included my consent as well. I dont know what the guys are doing at tht clinic...

It could be something really simple like some of the blood vials were dropped or the x-Ray was blurred. I wouldn't worry, just go back and see what they have to say. Good luck!

What tests are they asking you to redo? The basics of what are being assessed are: -

X-Ray (active or inactive TB)
Blood (syphilis & HIV)
Urine (sugar levels)

However, I assume if they come across anything else, big or small, they may question it. I'd follow other users advice and get back in to see the MD.

Only X-ray. I went to see the doctor yesterday & he informed me that his staff had made some mistakes. Now everything looks good & he will upload the results today itself. I will wait 2-3 weeks from now & send my PP to New Delhi embassy for further processing.
