Sharing My Timeline. Anyone similar situation?

Notice to write Test: JULY 24 2015 dated July 6 2015
Test Date: July 24st 2015 Passed
RQ requested: July 24 2015 at interview
RQ send|: AUG 4 2015
Decision Made: AUG 24th 2015 over phone to come in and sign. I was approved.

Oath letter: ?? WAITING

I had my test on August 27, and oath ceremony on September 11

@ mgl - Congrats. You are the first person that I have seen on this forum from the August month test takers to have gotten the oath. At the end, your processing was indeed quite fast.

My test was July 27 at Scarborough (passed). No date but its now DM on ECAS. The officer told me during the interview that it will be a 4 month wait (not making this up). Found it to be quite a long wait, so lets see.

what i saw in this forum that most of the persons including me received their oth invitation exactly after two months of their status changed to DM. mine was changed to DM on 22nd July and i got 5th line on 21st September. so those who got DM expect their oth letter after 2 months of that.

Congrats all for getting oath invites. You guys are lucky to be done so early with CIC.

I have been waiting since March and have followed up with them so many time. God knows why will they not schedule me for oath. I kept asking them if there is anything wrong with my file and they said everything is good. We are just waiting for it to be scheduled. What is such a big deal in scheduling an oath when you already doing it for others.

You aren't alone. We are also in the same boat. We passed the test on March 7th ( Routine Application). My husband's status changed to DM since first week of July and mine changed on 24th August. But our 6 years old son's status is still in process. Called CIC many times. We were told the same time as they told you. Yes you are right. What's the big deal of scheduling March test takers oath ceremony where they are scheduling it for the July-August test takers?

Status was changed to DM 15 days back and there is no 5th line and no pink letter.

It does not matter if your status is IP or DM they will move at their own speed. Its already proved that march/April people are most unlucky for Oath letter.

Looks like since Our Bus or Train or whatever is already late by 6 months so they don't really care now and they would process other latest applications with in 1 year. Priority will be given to those who are not late and process in 1 year. People who applied on or after 1st April 2015 will get Citizenship within 1 year and rest of us will get before 31st March 2016. You would be lucky one if you get that before 31st march. Worst case we would get in March next year.

so all those who are getting pink letter for Oath its no less than Loto max lottery. Congrats to you all.

CIC Phone lines are down today. They are disconnecting right after.

Does everyone heard from the officer after test just to wait for the oath in 2-4 months?
My officer told me they still need to make a decision.. And she didn't say how long it would be.
So I'm afraid they will require further documents from me, since I received an RQ before my test.
