Scarborough office / timeline after test

It seems that the single applications get oath sooner then the family applications. That maybe due to each application looked after by different officer?

There was a DM on the first week of June and then back to in process next week, according to my ATIP notes Citizenship Granted on first week of June but Oath not started at that time.

My wife passed Test/interview on April 7th too and still waiting for Oath or DM.

hey guys, just stopping by to see how you're all doing - after 6 years of checking this forum, it's weird to not have to use it anymore! I miss it haha... anyway congratulations to all of you who got an oath date finally! Nice to see things moving along. The rest of you hang in there, your day will come.. and before you know it you will be standing there singing O Canada as a Canadian for the first time.. such a wonderful feeling!

My Ecase changed to DM this morning and my Oath is on 10th September, I pass the test on 7th April.

Hi my fellow Canadians to be,

Quick question: Does anyone know how the CIC decides on the the date of oath? I see people that have done the test in March and they just had their oath now, and in the same manner some people have done the test in July and got the oath now as well. I understand it has something to do with the status changing to DM. Mine has changed yesterday so when do you think I will get the oath. I know they said 2-4 months but I am hoping to get a more specific answer from some Scarborough applicants experts here.

Absolutely, you are right! I applied with my wife and three kids. The test- March 11. DM - August ~ 24 . But still NO Oath line added.

Did all of your family members status change to DM or some of you are still in process?

My wife has same timeline as you (test April 7th). Her status changed to DM same day as you but there is not update on oath. Hopefully it is on same day. Did you already got the oath invite in mail?
