Scarborough office / timeline after test

Hi ,
I got letter for oath ceremony to appear on11january.
Can anybody suggest me some question to me .
I have moved from downtown Toronto to Brampton and forwarded my
Mail through Canada post. I got the letter through forward service as others.
Now do I need to change my address online before oath or not.
Please help.
One more what should I carry photo ID for my
7 years old son.

When you go to the cic website online

you can change the mailing address online

i just emailed u the link in ur inbox

by the way

did u pay to canadapost

for mail forwarding ??


so the mail gets forwarded to ur new address

did u do that before the citizenship test

or u did that after the citizenship test

infact u got the mail in the new address for the citizenship or just the oath ?

We sent you a notice on December 21, 2015 to appear and take the oath of citizenship at the citizenship ceremony to be held on January 19, 2016.

Congrats !!!, Better check with Call Center agents if change of address at this point in any way affect or delay / interfere with your Oath. Probably not, still better to check.

Yes, call all your ID's, passports, health cards, especially the PR cards of all applicants including the minor ones.

Did u change before the citizenship test ?

Did u pay for the mail forwarding before the citizenship test ?

Was it before the exam u changed ur address and how long ago was it friend

I moved to new address after my test.
And forwarded my mail to new address through
Canada post.
Finally I changed my address online today,
Genuinely I moved so why to hide .
Let see.

I finally became a Canadian Citizen today. Had my oath ceremony at 10:30. Everything went smooth and it was a great experience at the ceremony.

Cannot thank you all enough for the guidance & help, on this forum.

I am confused. They told me that you cannot apply for passport atleast till next 2 business days. You already applied it? They had all your data there? Also, how will you get your passport by Friday? I thought it always takes a week.

Yesterday I visited the passport office. My details were in the system.
I applied right away. Paid 210 bucks , they told me to pick it up on Friday.
Start to say eh every second sentence and you will get everywhere a fast service.
Don't you want to be a real Canadian ? Eh
