hello everyone,

I have been planning to land in Alberta Canada this Feb/Mar. I don't have a Canadian address and I'll not move permanently until the summer/fall. I'll be spending between 3 - 5 days in Canada just for the landing procedures.

I'd like to know if it would be all right to use the ups address to receive my pr card and then forward the US? Does the Canadian immigration check the address to be sure is legit?

Do I have to have my goods to follow list at the landing, or just when you move permanently?

Any reply would be appreciated.

Thanks

1. It can't be sent to a commercial address, so UPS is out.
2. GTF is required when you "land"

pmm,

first of all, thanks for your reply. I always enjoyed your posts.

according to ups my address would something like this

880 Sample Blvd
suite # 111
Sample City, AB T1K XXX

so, how would they know this is a commercial address, unless they google it?
